Breaking into Real Estate/ Property law advice

So I've been contemplating a change in the job scene. I currently work as a corporate attorney, but I'm looking for something else. The job I have sucks and I'm at the beggining of my legal career so I figure a change wouldn't be too much of a shake up at this point.
I've been looking at Real Estate/ Property law as a possibility. Has anyone here ever worked in that area? If so what are your thoughts on it? Also, how do you suggest breaking into it, other than the typical resume submission process?
