I literally don't breath when I watch this show. The first 30 mins, very light breathing. The suspense is way over the top!

what suspense?  while the episode was decent, it felt kind of lightweight.  next episode should be interesting though.

There was a ton of suspense in that episode.  Walt Jr. got to have breakfast in a hotel!  I did not see that coming.

HA! Good one! He really hasn't been on much this season. The family unit is breaking up. No more eating at the dinner table together.

I just thought all of the dialog was written very suspensefully. The scene in the hotel, by the pool and upstairs. The scene in hanks house after Jesse goes to the bathroom and briefly, very briefly the camera angle puts hank behind bars of the chair, you know like prison. All of it excellent!

good episode, even though it was light on action.  obviously setting up next week(s) with the Jesse/Hank plot line.  it also marks the point when Walt changes his stance towards Jesse.  Skylar stating their position is clearly the highlight of the episode though.

Did not expect that to go down. After the call to Marie, I thought we'd see the gang go busy down her door and take her hostage as a bargaining chip.

I was expecting him to get shot as soon he hung up the phone. It was a really good episode until the final 10 minutes. That last 10 minutes brought me out of it, the cell phone coverage in the desert, the overly dramatic phone call, and then of course the 10k bullets that hit no one despite having them lined up in their sites when they started shooting. Although someone said the partner was shot, I didn't see that though.

I agree, and even the ending was kinda ridiculous.

Spoiler for Hiden:
OMG.. will Walt survive? eek oh wait, they had that flashforward at the beginning of the season where he is still alive and free.

my prediction for next week:

Spoiler for Hiden:
Hank or Jesse pull out Walt and threaten to kill him if the White Power folks (heh) don't let them go.

I rewatched the ending and I'm not sure about that, though I don't have a great eye for those things.  He grimaced as he ducked behind a car, but I don't think I saw any blood or anything.  It could have just been a "we are so hosed" grimace, maybe.

Though clearly, of the 4 on that side, Gomez is wearing the red shirt, as it were.

based off of his distance from the truck when the bullets started flying, I'd be surprised if he wasn't hit.

Argh, for some reason the new episode is still not available to watch on Xbox.  It doesn't seem like they understand quick delivery of new content...there's a reason I subscribed to the whole season and that's so I could watch it as they came out!

I thought the ending of this week's episode was an A-Team flashback. They managed to hit everything except the people.

AMC is calling Saul Goodman for a spinoff of the network's drama series "Breaking Bad."

Meh.  Saul is a fantastic supporting character that provides much-needed comic relief, but I don't get terribly excited about an entire show devoted to him.  YMMV.

Someone on OO brought up the idea that a prequel about Saul may include Gus.

Yeah, I'm in.  I'm so in I doubt I'll ever get out.

prequel?  meh.  I like Saul, but I don't think his backstory will be all that interesting without feeling manufactured.

I beg to differ.  Saul became Walt's go to guy expressly because he had a long history of dealing with criminal elements.  As I said, how he came to be in the employ of Gus alone would fill a few seasons....with ease.

Yay, finally got to watch the most recent episode.  I agree that all of those misses were pretty ridiculous, and I was expecting Hank and Gomez to just get wiped out entirely.

As for the Saul offshoot, I agree that he's a great character in the context of this show but I don't think a spinoff will really work.  It would definitely have a different tone altogether.

Just got done watching on DVR.  I literally turned the TV off and sat in silence for 10 minutes just letting that all sink in.  Not sure I've ever seen a more powerful hour of television.
