So, I didn't see any tall about this show kicking off again last week. It's on again tonight. No other show has captivated me or made me feel compelled to watch it like this one. Anyone back on the train?

The Weghted Companion Cube will never threaten to stab you. Breaking Bad. It's easily my favorite currently on-air show and almost certainly in my top 5 dramas of all time. Maybe top 2, even.

I just started watching Breaking Bad on Netflix, finished Season 1 last night.  Took a while to click, but I'm really enjoying it now.

You're in for a treat. Season 2 is much better than season 1 and season 3 will blow your mind with its greatness.

We're in nearly the exact same spot...I just finished that episode last night.  One question that's bugging me (if it's not too spoiler-y to answer):

Spoiler for Hiden:
Before Hank got attacked, who called and gave him the heads-up that the assassin twins were on their way?  It wasn't Walt, I don't think it was Gus (although maybe it was), and it doesn't make any sense for Saul to do it.

This may be something I'll find out over the course of the next few episodes.  If so, just ignore me.  smile

I'm one week behind (just watched the Vamos Pest one), but this season started off a little slow for me.  The first two episodes didn't really do much for me, but the third one gave me that old Breaking Bad feeling.

I liked the slow start to this season. It's certainly more drama/less action, but enjoyable non the less.

This is addressed in a future episode.  Do not click this spoiler unless you want to know that

Spoiler for Hiden:
Gustavo Fring confirms, or at least *heavily* insinuates, that he is responsible for tipping Hank off.  It's one of the points he uses to taunt Hector Salamanca.

Not sure how I feel about season 4 yet.  Not crazy about the way they have Skyler involved, but we'll see.

Finished season 4 last night. Not as dramatic of an ending as 3 but it was great and the closing scene - wow.

I finished Season 4 this afternoon.  The writers of this show are absolute geniuses...what a brilliant finish.  One scene in particular might be one of the most intense 5 minutes I've ever seen on TV:

Spoiler for Hiden:
After Gus threatens his family, Walter rushes back to the house to get money for the guy that can make him "disappear".  He frantically searches through the bags, only to find it's not there.  Skyler admits she gave the money to Ted.  As Walter utterly loses it, they get a call that the DEA is putting Hank and Marie in protective custody.

That was a simply amazing.  Now I just need to figure out how to catch up on Season 5.

So I bought the season pass on iTunes, and watched 4 episodes on my flight today.  Was so excited to finally be caught up and be able to watch an episode live...only to find out this hotel doesn't have AMC.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

In a word, no.
Spoiler for Hiden:
Did you guys both happen to miss the part where Walt walks up to Mike's car with a gun and shoots him? You even see the car window break from the outside in when the shot is fired.
Not sure how that gets interpreted any other way.

it looked like he was going to shoot him, then it looked like mike did it himself, as Walt seemed shocked..

Spoiler for Hiden:
I think Walt was shocked. I don't think he envisioned himself killing Mike and the fact that he did it out of anger and frustration was shocking to himself. This is the first time that Walt can't use safety or his family as a justification for killing someone.
