Was on a trip and saw the website lumosity advertised everywhere on TV.  Anyone have any experience with the site or those like it?

I played those brain games on the DS but never got any SMRT.

If legit, might give it ago as my short term memory seems to be getting worse....(or maybe I just don't give a crap about a bunch more stuff now slywink ).

not familiar with the particulars you're talking about, but you can certainly condition your brain to do better.  Check the popsci story about reconditioning elderly to multitask through a game that requires them to drive while following instructions on pop-up signs.  kinda interesting imo.

Think of it as brain exercise, but overall most of the claims made by those little games and sites are bunk.

Best way is to just keep interacting, learning, and playing.

I think by doing puzzles you can train yourself to get better at doing puzzles. I don't think that by doing puzzles, you're going to magically raise your IQ.
