Vivendi Visual Entertainment has officially announced BloodRayne 2 which stars Natassia Malthe, Zack Ward, and Brendan Fletcher. This new Uwe Boll directed film will be available to own from the 18th September, and should retail at around $26.99. Extras will include a director commentary, extended and deleted scenes, an interview with the director and cast, a full version of the BloodRayne PC game, and a digital BloodRayne comic book. We've attached an advertisement with the official package artwork below: Ahem. Deliverance? "You've got a perty mouth" comes to mind when I look at the box art. And yes, Uwe Boll is back and the helm.

I approve of the wardrobe, but I'm sure the movie blows.
Zack Ward is also in Boll's live action version of Postal, and he was also in Resident Evil: Apocalypse. What I didn't know but discovered upon a trip to IMDB, was that he was also Scut Farkus in "A Christmas Story".

Whatever happened to his Dungeon Siege movie with Burt Reynolds and Gimli? Was it a direct-to-DVD release as well, or is it still waiting to be unleashed upon an unsuspecting public?

OMG... I just realized something. Deliverance starred Burt Reynolds... Uwe's last film had Burt Reynolds in it... and Uwe's next film is subtitled "Deliverance". Coincidence? I THINK NOT!!!

It's a hundred years later, and the dhampir Rayne has arrived in the town of Deliverance, Montana where a group of vampire cowboys have emerged. Led by Billy the Kid, hell-bent on creating is own kingdom, he slaughters townspeople and rounds up children. He spares the life of Chicago Chronicle reported Newton Pyles. Rayne aligns herself with Pat Garret, a member of the long-thought-dead Brimstone society, a dishonest preacher, and a low life named Franson, to stop Billy the Kid and show the world how the West was really won. wow... that sounds so bad I'd rather watch unbreakable get kicked in the balls over and over again instead...... |

DS shows a release date of 1/4/08 so yeah we still have THAT to look forward to. As for BR2...I assume there will be nakee sex involved...that is worth a Netflix rent for me.  |

Well the first bloodrayne was pretty good, although since the sequel a much smaller budget so it probably won't be as good.
Dungeon Siege is coming out (to theaters) next year. Actually got some decent reviews so far..
I talk to Uwe every now and then and honestly don't understand all the hate for his movies, especially when people don't even watch them in the first place.
