Both companies have some impressive track records.  I can only think this is a good thing in the long term for gamers.

OMG!

Think of it:  KOTOR III gameplay combined with Battlefront 2 epic battles?

Wow, Dark Reign, I forgot all about that game. I really loved that game. I especially liked the spinning blade weapons.

I remember it too.  Didn't the original Dark Reign come out around the same time as Total Annihilation?  If I remember correctly, it did.  There were massive debates on the intranet over which was the better game.

Hopefully they won't have Fed Ex quests in Mercenaries 2. That's all I ask for.

Wow I am pretty shocked about all this. I really thought Bioware was stubbornly going to keep their independance forever, and I was actually kind of ok with that, but Pandemic is a great developer and it looks like Bioware is goign to be left pretty much on their own with little interference. With that in mind I am a big fan of this, but I will be curious to see what if any practical difference this has on them and their games.
