I'm currently using iwon.com as my start page.  It has the best layout to my eyes that I've seen, and I can get all the news, more or less, that I need.  However, I know they're doing some heavy tracking of me, and I could care less about the possibility of winning money, so I'm wondering what other people are using for general news pages (by the way, Gametab is my first link in the morning.  Love that, but I need something with "real" news).

Thanks, gang.  I've already checked those sites, but I still think iwon has the best layout I've seen.  Any other choices out there?

I've been using the standard front Yahoo page, mainly because that's been my startpage for years, old habits die hard.

What I like is that, without having to log in or make a 'my page', I can see top news stories on the right- without having to scroll down at all.

I can also see links to thing like maps, email, the search field, and links to their music page.

If I am willing to scroll down a bit, I get all their categories, I like it alot.

Now they have redesigned their page and I don't like the new design, but thankfully they've included a link to make it go back the way it was.

I'm looking at that Google page, it looks like it would be cool except obviously you need to edit it to suit your needs, that doesn't appeal to my instant gratification inner child.

my homepage is, and has been for years, the ever popular about:blank.  The news is kinda weak there, but it's also blessedly clear of ads.
