I drink Honey Brown most of the time... I wouldn't say it's amazing but I sure don't get sick of it. I tend to drink any random German brew I can find very heavy beers compared to stuff like Bud and the like. Sam Adams isn't bad either.

Natty Lite - preferred drink of college students everywhere. I drank a lot of PBR in college as well.
Most of the beers I drink are local microbrews which I'm sure none of you have ever heard of. I won't even touch the big name stuff anymore.
Magic Hat is good stuff too.

Best: Paulaner Salvator on tap at a little bar in Milwaukee called Gasthaus zur Krone. Unfortunately the place doesn't exist anymore.
Also best: pretty much any beer from Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee.
Also also best: my own homebrewed Scotch ale.
Worst American: PBR and/or Bud.
Worst import: Moosehead.

My 5 Best (in descending):
(1) Newcastle Brown Ale. Always reliably brilliant. (2) DogBolter. This unbelievable stuff on tap in some pubs in UK. Dear god in heaven good. (3) Guinness, but on tap, & only on tap. (4) Pete's Wicked Ale (my winner, Microbrew category) (5) Honey Brown (my winner, the el cheapo pour-it-down-throat-when-on-budget category)
My 5 Worst (in ascending):
(5) Little Kings Cream Ale. THE High School beer. 7 oz bottles, darn perfect to sneak into movie theatres back in the day. Now, I _do_ still rather like it, actually, but objectively, I must admit it is nasty stuff. (4) Old Milwaukee. College version of above. Only diff, always knew it was damn nasty. (3) Red Stripe. Ugh. Some people think this is a premium? (2) I hate all things BUD. (1) My own horrid homebrew. College hobby. Maximized out, alcohol high/scraping costs low, I could produce about 5 gallons for under 10 bucks. Which was the point. Would kick your ass sideways. If you could get it down. My friends derisively 'nicked it as "Bit-O-Yeast", but damn well showed up promptly when I announced a pony keg of it was ready to tap.

Favorites: Stella Artois Newcastle Brown Ale Guinness Dos XX Amber Harp
Do Not Like: Heineken Corona Anything Light Anything with "Honey" in the title
I'm leaving off any microbrews because a) most people can't get it anyway and b) I don't want to seem snobby.
I'll happily drink Budweiser and other American macrobrew though... I've got no problems with that. Some of my best times were with buddies in Mammoth pounding back case after case of Bud.

Stella Artois! Have to second that.
Kirin Ichiban is also great.
We have a chain restaurant called Hops here and they have a beer called Lightning Bold Gold micro brewed that is fantastic
Fosters Bitters is also quite good.
Worst: Billy Beer...no contest. Schlitz and Primo regular....Primo dark was awesome though

I love Sapporro!
Stella is a good beer
If you have a chance to get any of the Dogfish Brewery beers they're all respectable...
Lately I've become a big RedHook Brewery fan. ESB is great, their seasonals are very tasty and give a wide variety and they're allways trying crazy new stuff. Go find some Nitro for a good deep malty beer with some serious kick. Their Sunrye is the BEST, absolute BEST summer brew. Hands Down. Only one that's close is Pete's Southpaw Summer ale...
I don't have a worst, because, in reality beer is like Pizza and Sex, when it's bad it's still pretty damned good. Oddly I let any domestic I drink warm up a bit before drinking just to get some more flavor, whether it's good or bad.

Yuengling. God's gift to man in a liquid form. Worst beer is easily either The Beast Ice Ahh....college. Beast Ice is the most cost efficient alcohol delivery system known to man. Tastes like faintly beer flavored water, has twice the OH content of the 3.2 beer we have here. Sorry, worst has to go to Olde English (ye old Eightball, or OE...). That stuff is nasty.

Worst: Genny and Genny Cream Ale and Utica club. Ah! Green Death, we called it. I really favor draft beer, but when I drink packaged beer, it's currently: Murphy's Irish Stout (can with nitrogen widget) Harpoon Octoberfest Fin du Mond Allagash Wheat Beer Guinness (can with nitrogen widget) When I'm slumming, I'll stoop to Sam Adams Boston Ale, or sometimes even Amstel Light. Worst: Bud Lite or Miller Lite (same thing) - both are undrinkable. Green Death, as mentioned above Old Milwaukee -- do they still make that? Schaeffer I can't think of any others. I just don't drink bad beer.

I dig:
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but I have to snort Afrin before I drink it or the hops sets off my allergies and I get more stuffed up than a Thanksgiving turkey.
I also dig:
Cisco Brewers Whale's Tail Pale Ale Anchor Steam Amstel when I'm on a diet I'm allergic to hops as well, which is kind of a bitch given my deep, abiding love of all things beer. Sierra Nevada Pale is a great beer, as is Anchor Steam. Sam Adams Boston Lager is always a good choice and their Oktoberfest is really nice. I picked up a six of Goose Island Oktoberfest and was disappointed. Their other beers are usually very good. Some of the pumpkin ales coming out this time of year are very good, including one called "Ichabod" by New Holland that's not only great but wins points for the Washington Irving reference. Thirsty Dog, the local brewpub, just put out their own pumpkin and my wife reports it's mighty tasty. Three locations in Ohio! I like IPAs better than most other styles of beer. Goose Island has a good one on the cheap. A couple bucks more gets you Kalamazoo's Two Hearted Ale, a great, great beer that wins points for the Hemingway reference. Lately I've been buying Honey Brown from Dundee because they've got an eight pack that includes one bottle each of their new Pale Ale and...damn, some other style, and it's only five bucks. Bad beer? Jeez, where do I start? If a Nascar driver mentions it in victory lane, avoid.

I don't drink a lot of beer, but Guiness is my choice. I also found a Goose Island pilsner that is really good. Pretty much every other beer I've ever drank has the exact same nasty taste to me.

Rolling Rock or Coors Original are my brews of choice. My choices seem so.....pedestrian when compared to the semi-exotic beers listed here. I haven't even heard of 90% of them.

Yard work. Bud Light
Meals Bass
After dinner Sam Adams triple bock Guiness
Worst bear would be Red Dog.
But when my father was in a brew club I would have to say the members could make the worst beer ever. I don't want to be a test subject for some ones failure. I just loved the way they would say "well what do you think is wrong with it?" after taking your first sip. yuk!

Blue Moon
I ran out of beer at poker night a while back and my neighbor had this stuff. IS this the one with a dog jumping over the moon or something... I think I blocked it out. Anyway iirc it had some nasty clove flavor or something. I know it's supposed to be a fancy, good beer but I say the Emperor has no clothes on and that it sucks hard. Sorry, just really didn't like that one. Um... best beers... I enjoyed Waterloo Dark a lot in College. Killians works for a cheap common brand. Negra Modello is my favorite Mexican treat. Buckler is the best N/A hands down. Dunno... I like most beers, I'll even drink Bud Light if thats all there is around or after a good lawn mowing. I'm not super picky but I really don't like that Blue Moon stuff.

Mmm, beer. Anyone else have the Homer Simpson talking beer opener? Best:Newcastle Brown Ale (like liquid candy for me) Abita Turbo Dog New Belgium 1554 Paulaner Oktoberfest Guinness Dos XX Amber Bass Amstel Lite Red Stripe Yuengling Pilsner Urquell Worst:Coors Lite, Bud Lite, Miller Lite Super Lite carb beers (just drink water and a shot of vodka already) Meister Brau, The Beast, Natty Lite, <insert college "brew" here> IPAs and Sam Adams always give me heartburn. Are these beers more hoppy? They always taste bitter to me and I can only get one down before I start feeling bad.

I actually like Genny Cream Ale.
That's all my in-laws drink and after 7 years of being force feed Genny Cream I have grown to like it. It does however make for a nice laxative. We call it Genny Screamer. You can't beat a 30 pack for $11. I have some in my fridge right now.
Worst Beers:
Nati PBR Old Milwaukee

I don't know if this was listed but one of the most interesting and tasty beers I've had was this: Trappist monks. They brew some good brew! http://www.chimay.be/www/chimay/site8/en/a_abbaye/a0_frameset.htmWorst beer: Beer That's what it was called back in the generic packaging craze that took place in the eighties. A white can with the word "Beer" in black letters.

If you like Chimay you might like this: or this one (the special release Grand Cru is one of the best beers I have ever had if you can find it, and their normal Abbey is good too): Everyone knows New Belgium for their Fat Tire which is ok, but imho these beers are their best by far.

Cool! Thanks Enough! I've heard of Trippel but haven't tried it yet. Of course, it's now a matter of finding those other Belgian-style beers since they are a bit off the beaten path.
Monks, is there anything they can't do? Genetics, cheese making, alcoholic beverages!
