Been quite awhile

Desktop

Laptop

For a cool site that has a shitload of wallpapers:
https://suigintou.desudesudesu.org/4scrape/index

FYI it is NSFW since it is a feed of basically wallpapers from 4Chan. Yes it has a lot of bad Anime wallpapers but their are diamonds in the ruff so to speak.

Here is mine:

Okay, I want. Where can I grab that one?

You can get the Wallpaper
http://amarjeetrai.co.cc/web/resources/wallpapers/images/Dark-Bliss.jpg

I got it from somewhere else but can't seem to find it (I think on Deviantart, but I can't find it now).  I can send you mine if you want 1280x960.

The theme I'm using is here
http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=6752&libid=1

The Wallpaper was actually created to be used with the very popular theme called Eminence, which you can get here:
http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=5758&libid=1&p=12

I like it as well, but I'm in a Windows 7 mood (just pre-ordered it and all).

For the clock, RSS, Calendar & CPU data I am using the enigma desktop theme for Rainmeter.

You can get links to everything you need for that as well as instructions here:
http://lifehacker.com/5087956/customize-your-own-killer-enigma-desktop

Let me know if you have any questions.

I love your desktop Eco-Logic, but that looks like too much work. Plus the one time I messed with Windows Blinds (years ago), I found most of the themes to be gaudy garbage and lacked the will power to make my own.

I was 100% in the same boat.  3 or 4 years ago I tried out Windows Blinds and found it (1) lacked quality themes (2) took too many resources to have running all the time.  I quickly uninstalled it and stopped using it all together.  Visual Styles / Themes can actually be run in Vista & XP without using Windows Blind, using a free patcher called uxpatcher or something like that.  I tried running the patch and installing themes but ran into issues.  It is an easy process though and my friend did it without Windows Blinds with no issues at all.  Anyway, I tried out the Windows Blinds trial and was immediately impressed with speed and enormous availability of extremely high quality themes.  It is simple to install themes with Windows Blinds, you can remove the icon so you don't don't have to have a reminder icon that the program is even running.  Themes from wincustomize.com actually install in 1 click.  Once a theme is installed you can tweak it within Windows Blinds to your hearts content.  You can change Wallpapers, set Wallpapers to rotate automatically and change icon sizes etc.  It's all in one central location.

Rainmeter couldn't be any easier to use either.  You just install it like you do anything, put the skin/theme that you want to use in the skin folder and select it.  Then you can add things to your desktop with a very easy menu, similar to Widgets (on blogs or your desktop).

It took me less than 3 minutes to setup the desktop I currently have and I had never done it before.

So, don't be intimidated.  Just try it.  You'll be surprised I think.
