Hmm... looks interesting.

This seems to fill a similar niche for the new Batman movies that the Animatrix did for the Matrix series. I'm in!

I'll probably see it, but I think I've been ruined for Batman cartoons, or DC cartoons in general.  All I end up doing is comparing them to Batman: TAS and Justice League and thinking how much better those older cartoons were.   icon_frown

I'll definitely be grabbing it.  I recently tried watching Batman: TAS after watching the Justice League/Justice League Unlimited and man it did not hold up well.  I'm working my way through Batman Beyond which is much better.

the first few seasons of the Batman: TAS were pretty revolutionary at the time.  Nothing like it had been seen in a LONG time (i.e. it didn't serve to sell toys only and the stories were quite mature).  however, i can see your point.  after the utter brilliance of the JLA and JLU series, its hard to go back and watch the forefather in action.  the last couple of seasons were more in line with the justice league stuff, though.

i really miss those cartoons.  the legion of superheroes and the newer batmans are okay at times, but they can't hold a candle to the bruce timm stuff.
