Axis&Allies and Conquest of the Empire

WOW! I found full boxed editions of 1984 versions of both Axis and Allies  along with Conquest of the Empire. Huge ass boxes too. Wonder if they sell for anything? I could post pics but damn Im starving and Ive got BBQ pulled pork sandwiches waiting on me.

Years ago a friend of mine who worked for Chessex (a game distributor) gave me 1st edition copies of Roborally and all the expansions over the course of 3 birthdays. 

About 4 years ago some jackass stole my car.  I eventually got the car back (and then traded it in) but they'd cleared out the trunk...the trunk in which I'd placed my beloved Roborally games after a night of gaming with friends. 

Flash forward to this year's Origins.  I'm perusing a dealer's booth and I see these 1st edition copies going for 150 to 200 dollars a pop.

I have all of the Gamemaster series.  Axis and Allies, Conquest of the Empire, Fortress America, Shogun, and Broadsides and Boarding Parties.  The last game sucked.

I still have my copy of Axis and Allies from that era. Along with another one called Fortress America. As you say, huge ass boxes with dozens of soft plastic counters each.
I had and sold Shogun and another one about pirates that were about the type theme.

Speaking of Roborally sales, I found 2 pristine expansions for the original robo rally.  They sold for $600 total on ebay to some woman in Germany.
