On Wednesday as I rode to work, a guy on a fixed gear bike passed me and almost instantly ran into a car that was sneaking by us through the intersection ahead, turning left. He tried to stop, but just hit the side and flipped over the bars onto the hood of the car. His bike got pretty bent up, but he seemed ok. No helmet, of course. The lady driving ended up giving him a ride to work and I left.

It would have been me if I was going just that tiny bit faster. Scared me quite a bit!
