Need some help covering my bases here.  I lost my phone today at one of my employers  (Home Depot) and since it hadn't turned up in the two hours it was missing i'm now considering it stolen and need to tie up all the loose ends that I can

I have an iPhone 4s with a Rogers plan.   Rogers has  phone tracking but, surprise, you have to have your phone in order to register it (kind of a useless feature).

So far I have contacted rogers and had the phone disabled so at least data usage is protected.
I have also changed the passwords on both my gmail and hotmail accounts, as well as changed the password on my facebook and had it log out of my mobile devices. Other apps on my phone are mostly game apps, itunes etc.

Most unfortunately, I uninstalled the swipe code lock app that I had on my phone a week ago (buggy -almost locked myself out) and hadn't installed a new one yet.  Whoever has it can access all my previous texts/pictures and phone lists which there is nothing I can do about now.

Nothing so far seems to have been accessed (no one changed passwords in my email) but that could change.  Is there anything else anyone can think of that I need to be doing to protect myself?

Bummer.  Did you have any mobile banking apps on your phone?  Other than that, I can't think of much else left to do but shake your fist angrily at the air.

you said you changed a bunch of passwords, but mentioned iTunes later on without mentioning a password change; just want to make sure you did that too.

Just asking the obvious, did you try calling your phone?  I had dropped my phone when out on a walk once and a nice girl picked it up and met me at a coffee shop with it.

I did call the phone several times and no answer.  I was working at the time I lost it tho so I had it on vibrate only.  I even had my sister text it from her phone saying to call her phone if it was found, but then I disabled the phone so....  Besides, if someone didn't think to hand it to a store associate or turn it in to the front desk I'm assuming that they're keeping it to look through my stuff. icon_mad icon_cry

Thanks CK, just changed itunes too!

Maybe it'll will have turned up by tomorrow when I go back for my close shift but I doubt it at this point. tear

Anybody who has an iphone should enable this stat: http://www.apple.com/icloud/find-my-iphone.html

If you used iCloud at all you might be able to get this going right now

Yeah, I discovered that after it was too late.  I'm sure it's handy though.  Can it pinpoint your phone accurately enough to gather an angry mob and storm a specific house?
