Well, they -do-, but their #4 and #5 are not as good as Clemens and Oswalt even on 3 days rest.
This needs to be fixed next year, but with a healthy Miller and Pettite, presuming that Clemens stays (likely), you'll have a rather good rotation of Clemens, Oswalt, Pettite, Qualls and Miller.
As I understand it, Miller is not in the picture. The phrase I heard is that they will 'non-tender' him in the offseason. I'm not sure what that means though.
And where's the love for Backe? He just pitched great in two of the most important Astros games EV4r!!!
