Don't tread on me

I've learned that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is stalk them and hope they panic and give in.

I've learned that no matter how much I care, some people are just assholes  .

I've learned that it takes years to build up trust, and it only takes suspicion, not proof, to destroy it.

I've learned that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes. After that, you'd better have a big willy or huge boobs.

I've learned that you shouldn't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think.

I've learned that you can keep vomiting long after you think you're finished.

I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, unless we are celebrities.

I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades, and there had better be a lot of money to take its place!

I've learned that 99% of the time when something isn't working in your house, one of your kids did it

I've learned that the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon and all the less important ones just never go away.

One of the women I work with had this happen.  She got dragged into the door frame and lost a bunch of teeth and broke her arm. frown

Owie for real! I apparently have learned something through life, because if I have even a second when I know i'll be flying through the air, lol - I seem to get myself at the best possible angle to minimize damage.  I did have years of karate and one year of judo training, so i'm sure some of it is that, and some is just being naturally good at it.  And lucky, lol.

I managed to take the brunt of the car part on left upper arm, and left and back ribs. The rest of me did the pavement road rash thing.  Really, really luck, and i'm not kidding either! Tongue

Lol WBS,

Yeah I know 75 lbs. doesn't sound like much for a "large" dog... but all i can say is that she is unbelievably strong for her size lol.  Probably because she needs tons of exercise  - so the whole ball retrieving, jumping through the air, swimming, crazy dog buddy play -  running and jumping, running and jumping, running and jumping, Ad Infinitum, lol! Believe me when I say that the 75 lbs. is all muscle, she has not an ounce of fat on her... unlike me!  :?

To be your dog, doesn't it have to live at your house?

As I mature (aka As I get old) I learn to appreciate just how short life really is.

As I mature, when I realize that hot chick coming my way is still in high school I feel like a dirty old man.

Hell the way high school girls look today, you'd think they were in their 20's anyway!
