JSHAW thanks for pointing out the url, don't know what I was thinking about when I put it in there
I've been messing around with it for a few hours, and the one shortcoming I can see has to do with recording. The stations on XM Radio, as I'm sure you know, have DJ chatter...the ones that aren't commercial free in anycase. So sometimes when it records a song it will get some of that DJ chatter as well, like when they talk over the opening bars of a song, or the end.
Other than that, I'm very pleased. Sound quality is great...the channel listing in Timetrax lets you look at what's playing across the spectrum while you're listening to whatever. One thing that I found to be pretty nifty with recording is that if you are already listening to a song, then decide, hey I want to record that, just hit record and you'll get the whole song.
You can set the minimum length of song you can record, so if you leave record on a station for a while it will skip over commercials and such.
I'm pretty sure XM Radio has some kind of package deal. Not sure what, but I recall seeing something mentioned on their site when I activated my account online.
