I've had this installed since yesterday and I like it. Its unobtrusive, just sits there in the task bar and notifies you when email arrives. According to Task Manager gnotify.exe uses only 7,620K.
Anyone else using this? Are there any problems? It certainly doesn't seem like a system hog or anything.

I have been using it at work for some time now. Not a problem one. Two thumbs up from me.

Likewise-been using it for several weeks now and like it. The one tiny issue I've noticed is that with some games if an e-mail comes in while you're playing you'll get a little flicker in the lower right of the screen as the notifier displays it's header text. On the other hand, it does have the result of notifying you even while you're playing a game.

Yah, it's worked great for me so far. I kinda liked the red colors over the blue colors it is now.

I noticed that when I downloaded this, the ability for gmail to store my password did not stick. So every time I went to gmail.com, I had to sign in again.

I wish I could click on the little popup to open up gmail, but other than that, no complaints.
Except to say holy CRAP it's a resource hog...It's using 9200K on my system, which is only slightly less than SQL server...that can't be right, can it? That just seems really high for such a little thing. mIRC is using only 1300K.

I never check my email unless I'm already browsing around the net, so I just use the gmail plugin for firefox. Does essentially the same thing.

Doesn't double clicking the little mail icon automatically open up Gmail, no need to enter in your password?

Doesn't double clicking the little mail icon automatically open up Gmail, no need to enter in your password? Yeah, it does, as long as you click the 'two weeks' link on the gmail homepage once. Otherwise double-clicking brings you to sign-in.

Yeah, I really don't undestand why it's such a huge memory user - maybe it's written in Java?

Been using it for awhile, I wish they'd add a feature so that you could right click on the icon and have an option to compose a new email. That'd make extra spiffy.
Other than, Gmail seems to be a resource hog, so I'm not too surprised that the notifier is using up so much memory, too.
