Anyone Else Playing City of Heroes

Finally bought a new PC last week (in prep for Doom 3 and Half-life 2), and somehow also talked the wife into also letting sign up for the City of Heroes MMO.

Man - that game has hooked it's claws into me deep in just a couple days too. Already got several level 6 heroes on a couple servers.

So was curious if any fellow CG'ers were also in the game. If so, perhaps we could arrange a team-up sometime.

I have yet to be bitten by the MMORPG bug.  I gave serious thought to CoH, which is more than I have been willing to do for all that came before it.  I don't think I'm ready for that kind of commitment.  Worlds of Warcraft looks neat, though.

I just don't see too much incentive for the casual player to get involved in them.

I'm on occasionally, but as usual with me and MMORPGs I find it hard to devote the time that's needed on games like that.  Especially with all the good console stuff coming out, it's even harder.  Oh yes, I have to work too.    I should know better, but hey, it was superheroes!

 I'll wait a couple months and see if I can put more time into it before deciding to keep playing.  Let's see, more coffee and less sleep might work.

What server are you on?  I'm mainly on Virtue as that's where most of the GG'ers are, but I've got a couple others spotted around on other servers (all low level).
My main character is Burning Rage, Level 9 Tanker on Virtue so feel free to give me a tell if your on there.

I installed it about a month ago, and it had serious hooks in me for about a week, but then I lost all interest.  Haven't loaded it up again.  I guess that I really missed the item collection and/or loot.

I really want to get into this, but the money right now ain't there. Which blows. Maybe once City of Villains hits I'll be able to afford it.

I created two characters on Virtue

NanoBurst - a level 6 technology defender
and
Becca StarBrite - a level 6 magic controller

Long ago when I played EQ - I typically played tanks so thought I'd try something different this time

So far I'm liking my controller character the best.
