It won't even be considered. When we opened this up we all agreed to no political or religious talk. There are other forums (including highly partisan ones) for those discussions to take place.
Too bad. I enjoy gonegold as a place where I can have those discussions along with my gaming news and movie reviews, recipes, and scans from Maxim and whatnot. I don't have the mental capacity to split myself among multiple sites, and I hate those highly partisan forums, because they're full of people like me. Which is not to knock consolegold and what you've built here AgtFox. Seems like a nice place. /Exeunt. |

I'll miss GG if it's gone, since it's been my 'home' for several years. But, if everyone jumps over here, then, it's not really any different. GG hasn't been updated as a regular site in so long, I was only really attached to the community and good forum conversation. And if everyone's here, then I won't miss the old GG at all.

Anyway, it does look like Gone Gold has finally gone away. I am sad to see it go, but it's not like we didn't know this day was coming (when the front page isn't updated for months on end, you know your days are numbered) and we still have this site to hang out on...so it's not all that bad.

Still, it's only been a day. Even if the forums did go kapoot, I have hope someone will get them restarted. The domain is still there, perhaps just need a new host.
