Hey guys. I'm trying to figure out the meaning a french phrase I heard today. I don't speak french at all and I only heard it. It sounded like "keska too fay" No idea how to spell any of it, and the context probably isn't helpful since it seemed rather random. Any ideas?

It means "what are you doing?". Que-ce que tu fais?

Or "what do you do?" in a more general sense.

Doh! Ralph beat me to it.  If you're curious however, the Japanese version is "Nani shiterun dayo!?"

"Wie geht's?" in German Tongue

Incorrect. "Wie geht's" is directly translated to "How goings?" or in meaning "How's it going?" ... or
" 'Sup?" ... all of which are a sort of slang for saying "How are you/what's happening".

Que-ce que tu fais, AFAIK, is a more literal question, such as "Bobby, what the hell are you doing?" or "What is it that you are doing there?"

or, alternatively, in American, 'what the fuck?'
