Ok. It may be the exhaustion from poor sleep + travel but that made me laugh out loud.

What the heck is this country coming to? It is illegal to smoke in public in Burbank. My question is how far are we willing to go as a society to provide a "safe" environment for the masses? Should we not be allowed to smoke in our own cars for fear that some of it might leak out and get into the car behind us? Should we outlaw standing near camp fires? Should we dispose of all fireplace chimneys? Seriously it's getting ridiculous.

I'm amazed everytime people pass new laws taking away our freedom.

Psh, don't exagerrate.  It's only illegal to smoke in...uh, that is within 5 feet of..

Just refer to this quick and easy reference chard PDF from the City of Burbank.  It's so small, you can fit it on the back of a couple cartons of cigarettes.  When you want to smoke, just spend 5-10 minutes cross referencing the chart with Google Maps to determine the closest Burbank approved legal smoking zone, spend 15-20 minutes walking to said Burbank approved legal smoking zone, and in just a half an hour you'll be able to relax with a nice smoke for a period not to exceed the greater of the duration to smoke two cigarettes or 10 minutes.

That's a law I'd vote to pass! (not really- but really, it's disgusting to pull up behind someone one and start inhaling their filth).  Also there should be a 50% more tax on cigs so that the states can hire Butt Clean Up Teams to clean up smokers filth at all stoplights and outside all stores.

I've heard many people complain about Burbank.  Apparently they write tickets for everything.

Burbank does ticket for everything.  My favorite gaming store was there for a long time, and I usually had to budget for a ticket.

Plus, smoking would improve its odor.

But this guy is a knucklehead to let the citation go without taking care of it.
