Aliens vs Predator Movie

So I just watched the (newer) little preview of this movie, and you know the first thing that came to my mind?

"I just hope it doesn't totally suck."

That's it.  I guess the chance of being let down is just so high, that I am really scared it's not going to be that good.

Anyone hear anything regarding the general "feeling" the major fans are sending out regarding this movie?

Hopefully they feel great about it.  That is usually a good sign.

In general, everybody I know is saying things along the lines of:

"I'm expecting it to be a pathetic failure of a movie, and I'm going to be there on opening day anyway."

Which is a sentiment I wholly agree with.

Will it be a horrid waste of film? Most likely.
Will I be there forking up my hard-earned cash to see it on the big-screen regardless of how stupid I expect it to be? Definitely.

Visually, it looks perfect. The shot of the Aliens climbing over the pyramid and the three Predators standing atop it just dropped my jaw. Then I recalled the flick was directed by Paul "Will Suck" Anderson and is set in Antarctica. Thus my enthusiasm is killed again.

this trailer made it look so cool but liek whiteboy said, it sounds liek a stupid premise and a bad story. its story will rival freddy vs jason (which is nto good) btu its action will rival riddick, which was awesome.
