I've never understood that part of the overblown elimination episodes.  "America voted.  They think you are an awful singer (but sing for them one more time before your 15 minutes are up)".

You can catch a three episode marathon either Saturday or Sunday this weekend, watch any/all of the episodes at NBC.com, or catch the "previously, on Heroes" at the start of the episode. What I recall having done none of that is below

Spoiler for Hiden:
Nate facing off with Linderman, Heroin man painting his own demise, Cheerleader's dad screwed over by hot Mystique gal, Hiro and his buddy in post-apocalyptic NYC, and Suresh in the air with Pete about to get de-brained by Sylar.

She looks like a cougar.

And I don't mean that in a flattering way.

A cougar? Do you mean a 1967 Mercury Cougar?  icon_biggrin

I'm sad Sanjaya is gone!  It was fun to read all the angst throughout the AI land on his being there.  I won't miss him on the performances though, thank god for Tivo and the ability to skip his singing.  I do wonder if Chris got into the top 4 due to reaction to Simon's eye roll (since explained as not related) during his shoutout to VT.  I didn't think Chris outsang Blake the night before at all.  I really expected Papaya to outlast both Chris and Phil but maybe the VT thing for Chris and Phil actually managing to put together a decent performance caught up with ol Sanja.  Anyways I guess I picked a somewhat interesting season to start watching the show but now what will happen to ratings since everyone is talking about how less talented these singers are compared to other seasons?  I find that hard to believe after hearing Melinda and Jordin sing.  Simon is right that Melinda needs to get rid of her continual surprise at being told she is great, I can see that working against her in a final vote vs say my favorite Jordin since Jordin's reactions seem more natural.

I'm gonna miss that shaggy haired kid.   Then again, it's almost worth it just to see the perturbed looks on the faces of the rest of them as they realize that yup, even the 'good' ones are going to be kicked to the curb now.   There's no hiding, no flying under the radar now that there are so few of them.  I was surprised to see Phil do so well, I had him pegged to leave before Sanjaya.

I can't tell you how glad I am that kid is gone.  Finally.  And I agree, Phil is impressing me more and more. I personally think he is by far the best singer of the guys.   The next few weeks will get real interesting.

I just found an article saying that Sanjaya's goal is to go to Berklee College of Music.  I work at Berklee College of Music.  If he makes it through the audition project, it will be amusing to me to watch his progress.  Unfortunately, federal law prevents me from blogging about it.   crybaby
