Don't tread on me
A day in the life of Hogeye

We haven't been having much rain here lately so I go out in the morning and water the plants we care about.
So I was watering a rose bush and I watered the leaves first before giving it a good drink. While I'm standing there this humminbird starts taking a bath on one of the rose leaves. Then is goes from leaf to leaf doing the same thing. Finally hanging on upside down on one leaf so the water will poor on it.
So I put the sprayer on light and water the hummingbird. It just loves it. It flaps it's wings and tail just like birds do when they take a bath. The it flies around in the mist for awhile and finally lands on the fence where it just stays there soaking up the water. Finally after about 7-8 minutes it's had enough and flies away happy as a bee.
Another day in the life of Hogeye.

That does sound pretty idyllic. Having homemade moonshine readily available would be an advantage, too.

That's unprecedented! First of all, it'a a dbt story that doesn't feature a shotgun or goats. THEN it has the gall to be
heartwarming
?!?
Dbt, are you sure you didn't suffer a stroke amidst your birthday festivities?
(In all honesty, I'd love to have seen it. Sounds amazing.)
