Agreed, the officials were sleeping or went cross-eyed on the Kovy penalty.  I didn't think the penalty on Shenn was too bad a call or a big embelishment by Marty.

I feel they can play with them and I didn't think they could before the series started. Actually dominated most of the 3 games, but mostly because the the Flyers were rusty.

Every time the Blues score any time, the Kings score immediately after.  Meanwhile, the Kings are scoring other times and the Blues aren't doing crap.

Sutter didn't have nearly the kind of player talent in SJ that he does in LA. He coached pretty much the same way in his time in SJ, maybe a bit more of a hard ass than now. His last season coaching a veteran Sharks team, the players pretty much tuned him out.

I think its a sign the Flyers are looking to grit up in the next game. I hope there aren't many Devil casualties on account of that, but putting in a player that has the dubious honors of tallying more suspensions in a single season than goals can't be good.

I watched the Kings make a run for the cup in 93 with Gretzky and crew.

Strange at it sounds, I really think we have a better chance this year than we did then.  For the first year in a long time, we have a goalie that we can count on 110%, a smart defense that knows how and when to activate, and 4 lines that just shut teams down.

They just needed that push and Sutter seems to be the one to do the pushing.

Wow, that was an epic fail by Ward in the last seconds of the 3rd! Without a doubt, 1 of the worst penalties I've ever seen taken in a playoff game. I hope for his sake the Caps win in overtime.
