Raffi is appealing his suspension.

Maybe they'll give him more?    icon_twisted

With videos of 11 questionable hits, some of which he was already suspended for, he is going to lose.

Goalies switched?

Bullshit call on Kovy. Then crappy dive by Marty to even it up.

Agreed, the officials were sleeping or went cross-eyed on the Kovy penalty.  I didn't think the penalty on Shenn was too bad a call or a big embelishment by Marty.

Love that stuffer by Parise - that was one aweseome goal!   icon_smile thumbsup

Huge game if they can win it, I'm not crushed if they lose.

I feel they can play with them and I didn't think they could before the series started. Actually dominated most of the 3 games, but mostly because the the Flyers were rusty.  icon_wink

Petesy - How do the Devils look compared to the Pens against the Flyers?

Weak call. Tough way to lose.

...Not yet...

That was a legit call.

The Devils do that a lot. I guess it's part of having a crappy team of defensemen.

Wellwood scares the crap out of me. It's like he's 3 steps faster than everyone else.

Can't say I care for the Flyers play along the boards - a lot of subtle cheap stuff, and its pretty much constant.

That was 15 amazing seconds and then he turns the puck over and they need to clear the zone. The difference is that he'll backcheck now when he screws up.

Which is how he ended up with the puck to feed Pony with that long pass.

Kings are just the better team.   crybaby

Every time the Blues score any time, the Kings score immediately after.  Meanwhile, the Kings are scoring other times and the Blues aren't doing crap.

Sutter didn't have nearly the kind of player talent in SJ that he does in LA. He coached pretty much the same way in his time in SJ, maybe a bit more of a hard ass than now. His last season coaching a veteran Sharks team, the players pretty much tuned him out.

Goddamn it I hate afternoon games! I really wanted to watch that Ranger-Caps game but I though it was a 7:30 ET start. And damn it even more that I missed a game in which the Caps evened up the series!  mad

I think its a sign the Flyers are looking to grit up in the next game. I hope there aren't many Devil casualties on account of that, but putting in a player that has the dubious honors of tallying more suspensions in a single season than goals can't be good.  ninja

It will certainly make me feel better about the Canucks getting their asses kicked in the first round if this happens. The Kings are damned hot right now.

All I can say is, I'll be cheering for the Kings to put away the desert dogs from the sunbelt. If the Preds somehow stage a miracle comeback, I'll cheer for them. Otherwise go Devils and Caps!  smile

I watched the Kings make a run for the cup in 93 with Gretzky and crew.

Strange at it sounds, I really think we have a better chance this year than we did then.  For the first year in a long time, we have a goalie that we can count on 110%, a smart defense that knows how and when to activate, and 4 lines that just shut teams down.

They just needed that push and Sutter seems to be the one to do the pushing.

Go Kings!!!

Plus it is nice to see hockey on page 1 and not page 7 after out of state High School football scores.

Wow, that was an epic fail by Ward in the last seconds of the 3rd! Without a doubt, 1 of the worst penalties I've ever seen taken in a playoff game. I hope for his sake the Caps win in overtime.
