I say go with the Schneid next game, but 1st the Sedin's have to be put against a wall and slapped around at bit for returning to their underachieving form. Actually, the Bruins coming back is all Devil's fault - his cheering for the Canucks has jinxed them.

So who's the keeper next game? Schneider or Luongo? It's hard to imagine switching goalies now in the middle of the Finals-that would be Flyers level of stupidity. On the other hand 8-1 and 4-0 are disturbing scores.
The defense in front of LALONGO has not helped him. Schneider looks pretty good right now. Then again, he has basically zero pressure on him not to suck. Is it Lalongo or Luocho? Make up your mind!

Blackhawk fan here, so I'm loving the way this is going. Canucks barely win game 1 & 2, and get absolutely destroyed the last two games. I think we can see how this is going to end up

The Bruins have the momentum, but the Canucks get to play the next one at home. There's still a lot of hockey to be played.

Luocho is when he gives up eight goals. LALONGO is what Don Cherry calls him, so it's obviously right most of the time.

As a Canadian, I've been a Canucks fan since I was a kid. Trevor Linden, Pavel Bure, Kirk Mclean, Marcus Naslund, etc. It saddens me that Canada will hang the only Canadian team that has a chance out to dry. Last time I checked, the Oilers, Flames, Leafs and Senators sucked, with Montreal being the only other team with some talent.
I agree that some of the characters on this Canucks team have some questionable moments of character.. but no one can deny that they are talented team. It just kills me to read the blogosphere that when the Canucks play dirty, they are spineless, classess wimps.. but when Boston plays the EXACT same way, they are playing gritty, classic hockey.
No wonder we keep losing teams to the USA.

The Canucks are considerably worse than any team in the league, EP. I definitely understand that they are your team and you cheer for them so you have a bit of blue-colored glasses on, but they are bad. Boston is certainly playing chippy, but there are certain aspects of the Canucks that aggravate almost every NHL fan even BEFORE this series: 1) Very few of them stand up for their antics. Lappiere and some of the guys on suits right now will throw with just about anyone... but every other guy clearly hides behind the ref unless it's against someone who just doesn't know how to fight (the Kesler and BIESKA fights, recently for example). 2) Burrows. Everyone hates Burrows. This is a guy who nutshots people, pulls hair, whacks people in the legs (anyone remember when Morrow tried to murder him while he was already on the bench), and NEVER, EVER stands up for his actions. The fact that he is extremely talented makes it even more irksome. He is literally worse than Sean Avery. At least Avery a) answers the bell from time to time and b) is legitimately funny sometimes (Hi Marty Brodeur!). 3) Dive city. No explanation needed.
I don't begrudge Canucks fans... you root for your team no matter what. But they are absolutely hated by others and with good reason. There's no doubting that.
And to your point, yes they are IMMENSELY talented. I actually think the way they play is to their detriment. They play tough, but aren't. If they just went out and just outworked/outskilled Boston rather than trying to be the sham bullies they've been proven to be, they'd have control of this series. It's the same thing that happened last year in Chicago. Canucks think they're tough until they run across an actual tough team, then they wilt. IF they go out tonight and play their game on the ice rather than their game after the whistle, they've still got a chance. If they go out and try to be tough (when they aren't), they're going to get rolled again.

Agreed. If the Canucks want to win, they need to play a solid, boring game. Don't be chippy, don't piss off the other team, don't try to be tough. Boston thrives on that stuff.

Glad to see that this one is going to 7 games. My guess is that Boston will explode again in game 6. For game 7 all bets are off but you've got to think that the 'nucks will have the advantage. I'm pretty ambivalent in regards to who I would like to win. I'm not a big fan of Boston but they are an original six team and they have played with a lot of heart. Canucks are from Canada and it has been too long since a Canadian team won. But I haven't been impressed with some things that have come out of these playoffs. Id much rather watch a Toronto-Boston final.

Luongo makes a huge save and the crowd erupts. The same people that wanted his head on a platter and Schneider in net just hours ago. The fact is, whenever Luongo laid an egg twice in a row this season Schneider came in and put in a steller performance. Not to take anything away from Luongo's excellent performance tonight, but the fact that so many Canuck fans would be willing for Schneid to go in net midway through a final round speaks volumes for his skill and the confidence people have in him. You may not think he's good, but just wait until he's traded to another team as the starter. Heck that could eventually even be the Leafs - then you'll change your tune. Tanner Glass: LOL

Nope. Giguere won it that year he went nuts, even though New Jersey won the Cup. Devil thought it was a very nice gesture.

This series should be over already with BOS holding the cup. Six goals in give games for VAN and all three wins have been by the narrowest of margins.

A side note to this final - I'm betting Canucks GM Gillis smacks himself every day for trading away Mitchell and acquiring Ballard. Case in point; Canucks top defencement -Hamhuis- is out for the final, one of their better reserve D-man -Rome- is supsended for the distance, yet 4.5 million Ballard sits on the bench as a scratch almost every game. I really don't expect to see him in a Canucks jersey next year, but weirder things have happened. Too bad, because in games he was hot this season he was damn good.
