he almost played Aragorn?  kinda like Christopher Walken could have been Han Solo, some of these movies would have been far different with Cage in these roles.  I think everyone has heard about the Superman casting, but some of them make you go 'wha?'.

I just checked and it's working fine on my end.  here's the list minus the descriptions:

1 - Superman
2 - Aragorn
3 - Neo
4 - Willy Wonka
5 - Chev Chelios (Crank)
6 - Jonathan Crane / The Scarecrow (not Nolan's)
7 - Randy "The Ram" Robinson
8 - Skeletor
9 - Harry Dunne (Dumb and Dumber)
10 - John Bender (Breakfast Club)
11 - John Constantine
12 - Joel Barish (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)
13 - Dallas Winston (The Outsider)
14 - Francis Dolarhyde (Red Dragon)
15 - Mr. X (villain formerly meant to be in The Green Hornet)

The sad thing is that he was once a well respected actor.  Years ago when you mentioned Nicholas Cage folks didn't chuckle.  Unfortunately, he started viewing his career solely as a way to make money and stopped caring about being a respected actor at some point and it's been a downhill slide ever since.

I disagree with Neo.

Cage and Keanu are both horrible at fitting into the movie - they stick out like the breakaway section of a wall from 80's cartoons. It's almost the same color, but not enough to not stick out long before. This worked well in The Matrix because he really DIDN'T fit in. Cage could pull that off.

You're all forgetting the most important question: If you were doing a biographical movie about Nicholas Cage, and couldn't cast him in the role, then who would play Nicholas Cagesaywhat

Keanu Reeves - reason listed in a previous post of mine.

If he wasn't available, Kirk Cameron.
