Even though the villagers were initially unsuspicious, the gossip going around town about the mangled animals and the bloodless deer found in the woods eventually got the village into a frenzy. And with this frenzy, they went into a debate on who is the most suspicious villager.

And it came down to Silky, who has been gone for much of the day. It was decided that he will be lynched this day.

*CRASH!*

When Silky did not answer his door, rshetts2 and Moliere, who agreed to take the guilty and take him to the gallows kicked his door down. After storming the house, they found Silky in his bedroom with lotion in his left hand and a shocked expression on his face.

"What?! What the **** are you doing?!"

"You're goin' to the gallows, Silky," declared Moliere.

"And we're not going to let you finish. We'll drag you out if we had to," stated rshetts2 matter-of-factly.

Silky leaped out of bed, and leaped out of the window. Unfortunately for him, he landed in the middle of a mob of villagers.

"LYNCH HIM! LYNCH HIM!"

Silky was dragged by the mob to the gallows, where Soulchide stood, holding the lever ready. Silky's hands were quickly tied behind his back, and his head slipped into the noose.

"NO LAST WORDS! LET THE DEVIL DIE!"

"YEAH!"

Abiding, Soulchide pulled the lever, and Silky dropped.

Long moments passed as Silky swung. There was no change. Just as the villagers quieted down and whispers of "was this a mistake?" spread throughout the mob, Silky suddenly thrashed, and howled, transforming into a large and ferocious werewolf. Grabbing the noose with one hand, Silky swiped his deadly claws towards the crowd. He would have connected and taken the head off a villager if not for the silver-tipped arrow that suddenly appeared on his hand, halting the swipe just as it gained momentum. Another one pierced Silky right in the middle of the forehead, instantly killing him.

Silky has been lynched, and is a kamikaze werewolf whose attack has failed.

I'm still thinking BP needs to rez envy24 now, before the night orders are in.

I guess you do have to watch out for the quiet ones. The bad news is that we get envy back.  icon_evil   icon_twisted

Yep, resurrect envy now. kamikaze werewolf must have forgotten that the hunter protection extends into the day. So they missed last night and tried again today. Big "Doh!" for them.

I would like to assume that any delays are the village waiting for ravenvii to process all the orders. We should be in good shape going into tonight and tomorrow considering we took out a wolf and we're back at full strength on the innocents.

I have some worries about tonight, but as I've stated before I think the wolves will use or have used the infection on someone that has the potential to live a while.

And just in case I get infected, My vote right now is that theohall is the alpha wolf or vampire.

He is acting too hit and miss with posts and how things work.  I expect more from a veteran of the game and I believe that he is playing dumb.

thoughts before game bedtime: these wolves do not seem to be coordinated. Do they use a forum here or is it strictly PMs.

They were blocked last night by the hunter and then chose the same target for the kamikaze!? Surely not, so does that mean they chose someone that was the hunter for the kamikaze attack? The rules states the hunter is immune from one WW attack, I assume this cover kamikaze WW also. Would it be scraper?

But why chose scraper even if he said he was special, when you have a chance of hitting the hunter. The smart play was to choose scoop or BP (whoever wasn't protected).  But what if they had no choice, meaning one of the 3 is a wolf. (i.e. attack scoop last night and blocked. attacked scraper with kamikaze and blocked because he's the hunter. Couldn't choose BP because he's actually a wolf or infected wolf now.)

Vamps are also immune to one WW attack and completely immune to infection. So it's possible that Silky attacked the Vamp. Or they tried to attack the vamp last night. Just another wrinkle.

Here's my best guess.

WW tried to attack Scoop last night. It failed because he's the vamp.

Then Silky tried to kamikaze BP today. It failed because of protection.

Or:

WW tried to attack BP last night. Fail because of protection.

WW tried to infect Scoop last night or today: May have succeeded depending on whether or not Scoop is a vamp.

Silky Kamikazed Hunter and failed.

I said it was my best guess. Not all possibilities.

But if he was protected.

WW tried to attack Scoop last night - fail because of protection.
Silky tries to Kamikaze Hunter/Vamp - Fail because of special  save ability.

You could also re-arrange that order to Kamikaze on Scoop today, but hunter save. With attack on Vamp/hunter last night, but fail because of special.

The rules [Vampire/Goth scans (or attacks)] imply the answer is no. It seems like they can do one or the other each night.

Still waiting for confirmation from BP or Envy before I enter my scan.

I'm dead most likely so when I enter my scan I will also make my final post. Won't be much but some suggestions for who I think the baddies are.

As ferocious storms brew in the sky, the silent village below shone from the light of the moon. All the lights in the houses are dark as the villagers turned and tossed in their restless sleep.

However, one building has a light shining out of the steeple. The chapel, despite the silence, is humming with magick and malice.

The act of resurrection is an evil unmatched by the ravages of the werewolves and the thirst of the vampires. However, the Sorcerer hopes that the malevolent magick can be used for the ultimate good.

Below the chanting Sorcerer is the body of envy24.

As the chanting grew louder and louder, beyond the capacity of any normal person's vocal cord, envy24's body crackled with electricity and begun to shake.

There was a deafening flash of malice and power that awakened every living thing within miles of the chapel. As the villagers rushed out of their homes, their eyes turned towards the entrance of the chapel.

Out walked envy24, alive and well and with no indication that he was dead just moments before.

envy24 has been resurrected. It is still NIGHT.
