A fantastic wolf strategy is to complain about the length of the night cycle out in the public, and hold it up anyways.

Pointing out the complaining is also a favorite tactic of wolves.  slywink

Pointing out the pointing out of the complaining might also be a good strategy. Now where's that Iocane powder?

The Seer shivered as he watched the sun set behind the mountains in the distance. The shadows grew long and with them a cold wind picked up and shook the leaves from the trees. The Seer pulled his hood over his head and walked across the dirt path to his hut. Put some wood in the fire, lit some candles, and sat on the floor cross-legged and closed his eyes. He breathed deeply, inhaling the aroma of the burning candles. Meditation, usually his favourite part of the day. A time when one could just forget the outside world and open his mind to the gods. But it hadn't been this way the past few nights. Lately his images have been disturbing, dark, full of death. Sleep was hard to come by, because he knew....the prophecy was coming true.

Evil had returned to his village.

Across the village a shadow darted in and out of the trees, working his way back toward the huts. Attached to his belt were three newly killed rabbits. Tomorrow's dinner. The hunter stopped suddenly and listened hard. He had heard a twig snap somewhere behind him. But no one was out here, not this late. The rest of the village would be safely locked in their huts. But something was following him, and it wasn't the first time he had heard it. For the past few nights he couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. He took off running, slammed the door to his hut and turned the lock.

The hunter. Being hunted.

The sun disappeared completely behind the mountains. Full dark. Twelve huts were silhouetted in the moonlight. From one of them came a blood-curdling scream.

Purge was the first to emerge from his hut in a full-out sprint and reach the source of the noise. He knocked on the door. When he got no answer he banged his fist louder and louder against the door. By this time the rest of the village had gathered outside the door, anxious looks on their faces.

Purge stepped back and gave the door a hard kick just below the handle. The wood splintered, the lock gave way and the door slowly swung open. The crowd gasped.

Qantaga was lying on the floor, his eyes cold and lifeless. His arms and legs were nowhere to be seen.

The villagers looked at each other. A killer was among them. But who?

So do we call Qantaga "Bob" now? Or is it since he is on the floor we call him "Matt"?

Someone one has to ask....

Why Matt?  I mean Qantaga.

As to accusations, why not start with the usually silent ones, since they are so hard to read anyway.

This is like speed dating with a bunch of uptight ADHD chicks.

Fast, but certainly not easy. Tongue

If I'mma gonna poke someone, it's going to be rickfc.

He's so cute in his sun-dress. I think it's the hairy legs that give him away.

I withdraw rickfc poke.

I also take a shower. A long, long, shower.

There may be crying, but it has nothing to do with shampoo.

I don't see any reason to lynch theohall other than getting the random first day kill out of the way. Anyone have a good reason?

The first day we might as well use random.org to pick a name. I don't know what else we have to go by except the previously posted question of why Qantaga. I can't remember, but is there any historical significance to that kill from previous games?

I'm thinking that the wolves are afraid of his analysis.  Qantaga is very good at anaylzing.  Theohall, sadly, was too, as he proved last game.  I was a wolf last time, but not so this time.  And to prove it, I won't even vote for Theohall slywink

I'll vote for ravenvii to get him to post something too smile

i dont want to get the doopri paranoia train rolling early but i can think of one reason to get theo - hes knows he can count on soul (as a villager) in a pinch to make a good call (how the hell did you pick crag???) - of course if he (soul) is a wolf hes also (for me!) a very scary wolf prospect!  i also dont trust molieres bloodthirsty and very quick turnaround on me after my initial innocent poke of proner.  of course, it could also be waaaaay too soon of me to make these leaps
