Things are getting a bit dull around here.

Let's remedy that and play a quick WW game! One of those simple ones, with <10 players, 2 WW's and a Seer.

Anyone want to play?

Players:
Soulchilde
Purge - HUNG, VILLAGER
Moliere - MURDERED BY WWS
Bulletpig - WW CUBANO SANDWICH
JayDee - HUNG, WW
theohall
Qantaga - MAULED BY A WW
Cragmyre - HUNG, WW
doopri - HUNG, VILLAGER

 IN!!

I know you want to make it a simple game, but I always liked the ones with an Alpha wolf that can infect another player at any time. It adds an element of "has this person been infected" to the game.

Yeah, I love those complicated games, but we've not played here on GT in a long time, so I just wanted a simple warm-up game to drum up interest again.

I think some of the regulars that used to play on this forum now play at OO and might not visit as much as they used too. Newcastle is gearing up a new game and they have a WW league games as well

That's 9 players!

I'll assign roles and begin the game shortly!

***

The crow flaps its wings, fighting the winds, its eyes peering through the thick fog. Soon a village reveals itself, spread out in a semicircle in a large clearing in the forest. In the center is the hangman's stage, the noose hanging from the wooden structure, ready to tighten around a criminal's neck.

Or a werewolf's, as the case turns out.

Suddenly, a claw appears from out of nowhere and snatches the crow out of the air.

***

A scream welcomes the morning in quaint GTville. The woman-like scream turned out to have originated with theohall, who discovered DarkEl's tattered body hanging from nails driven into the side of theohall's own house. There is a writing, made out of DarkEl's blood, which reads "delicious meal was delicious."

As the village assembled before the grisly sight, there was a silence.

...

Then, "WEREWOLVES!"

***

GANE HAS BEGUN. It is now DAY. 9 players remain - 5 is the majority vote.

Is it wrong to want to point out that this is just a gane, and we shouldn't take it too seriously?

That being said,

Qantaga

No science, just a name I don't know how to pronounce. biggrin

So, we've got a stealthy JayDee, a misleading Purge, and an apparently frustrated Soulchilde.

Let's see what kind of mood the rest of our merry band is in this morning (and keep an eye out for a glinting fang or two along the way).

Should make for an interesting day.

It's interesting that:

A. You're threatened by analysis.
B. You use the word "excessive," which is frivolous, at best.
C. You pounce on Purge's "unpronounceable" accusation, which reveals a rather bloodthirsty behavior.

That's three for Qantaga....Has a wolf already joined the chain trying to start a pile on? Or are they sitting back and letting things play out?

I'm going pick someone we haven't heard from yet who doesn't have a vote on them. theohall explain thyself!

oh bummer my first thoughts were 1) kill the evil wolf that offered the first victim or 2) jump on that poor first bastard if he got another vote or so to get this thing going quickly.  now youre going to get me!  does this mean one less vote for qantaga and one for dear doopri???  the humanity!

Was getting concerned that the game wasn't going to happen and work was crazy yesterday.

First day is complete crap shoot while everyone starts building their story.

I am still going over the post to determine my vote but can tell you that we are all just taking a shot in the dark... period.

Because Purge is an unpowered villager.

But hey, go ahead and continue to spray votes on everyone.

Here's the vote history (since Raven is asleep or blinding himself with porn).

Purge > Qantaga (1)
Soulchilde > Bulletpig (1)
Moliere > Qantaga (2)
Qantaga > Moliere (1)
Doopri > Qantaga (3)
Jaydee > Theohall (1)
Purge > Doopri (1), Qantaga (2)
Cragmyre > Bulletpig (2)
Theohall > Cragmyre (1)
Bulletpig > Cragmyre (2)
Cragmyre > Soulchilde (1), Bulletpig (1)
Bulletpig > Purge (1), Cragmyre (1)
Purge > Purge (2), Doopri (0)

Qantaga - 2 - Moliere, Doopri, Purge
Purge - 2 - Bulletpig, Purge
Cragmyre - 1 - Theohall, Bulletpig
Theohall - 1 - Jaydee
Moliere - 1 - Qantaga
Bulletpig - 1 - Soulchilde, Cragmyre
Doopri - 0 - Purge
Jaydee - 0 - none

5 is majority, Qantaga came closest with 3 on him (and no dogpile either even having the 3 people longest ... suspicious!)

Scenario 1: Either Qantaga, Moliere or Doopri or Purge (myself) are a wolf. If none of them were, we likely would have had two wolves kick this into a night cycle with a pile-on.
If that's the case I say start with Qantaga - I think we might have caught the wolf first thing, or Moliere. I just remember Moliere getting upset last game and I'd rather he not get lynched day one by my hand.

Scenario 2: Two wolves are outside that pool (2 out of 5 in Crag, Qan, Theo, Bullet, Jaydee). It may be that the wolves missed the opportunity, or they simply didn't want to be the last two to the party.
I'd go for Bullet or Jaydee - one for trying to get the train started, the other for not really being active. This is a lot of analysis, but I am suspicious of Jaydee not having any votes against him, and Bulletpig voting for me.

Day one crapshoot. What to do, what to do.

As for me, I've self-voted for a reason. As I said I'm an unpowered villager - killing me is better than a seer, but not better than a wolf.

Easier list to read:

2 - Qantaga <-- Moliere, Doopri, Purge
2 - Purge  <-- Bulletpig, Purge
1 - Cragmyre <-- Theohall, Bulletpig
1 - Theohall <-- Jaydee
1 - Moliere <-- Qantaga
1 - Bulletpig <-- Soulchilde, Cragmyre
0 - Doopri <-- Purge
0 - Jaydee <-- none

5 is Majority.
