Not sure why nobody else started one, but I'll start off!

From left to right - a pair of leather shoes with dragons on them, a black French-cuff dress shirt, Cards Against Humanity with a LEGO Loki minifig on top, a pair of dragons a dear friend gave me, a Samus fig from Japan,  Zelda: Link Between Worlds for 3DS, a dragon notebook, an Atlas of Weaponry (goes over war tactics from ancient to modern), and a new pair of combat boots.  I picked up the PS4 and XB1 to tackle reviews (like the shiny 15% I handed out to Fighter Within the other day)  A pretty awesome year!  I'm very thankful....

How'd you guys make out?

I got 3 new Steam games from the Octopus Overlords, doubling my inventory and giving me my first-ever backlog. Also two flannel shirts from a BIL who apparently didn't get the no-more-gifts memo.

I got a few blu-rays (Criterion editions of Nashville, On the Waterfront, and Two-Lane Blacktop, plus, The Muppet Movie and Orphan Black), a couple of Steam cards and a couple of ITunes cards. Aside from that, I got a nice pullover and a number of new t-shirts.

ETA: I forgot to mention the 3DS XL.

For games I got LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for the Xbox One and Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS.

I got a few books on Kindle: Lies of Locke Lamora, The Cold Dish and More Than Human.

In the music category I got albums from Puscifer, Muse and Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer.

I also got some kitchen things: a green pan, a scraper spoon, some measuring cups and a food scale.

Hmm, people gave me a couple of games in the OO group, but I never go there anymore after my last meltdown. icon_neutral I take it people were giving out games?

Got some scotch, glasses, whiskey stones, and some clothes. Bought myself a new iMac since my current one is approaching 4 years old as well. I need it for school...that's it.

I got some money that I doubled towards a Nexus 7 32 GB and a $150 Amazon gift card that I'm not yet sure what to use on. Also got a box of really great cookies from a bakery in Grand Rapids as well as a bunch of delicious popcorn.

With the Amazon card I think I might get:

Hanger for my guitar (mere days after I tossed my belt on my bed and forgot that my guitar was laying on it and gave it a couple nice dings...d'oh)
Hohner Special Twenty Harmonica
Game of Thrones book series
H.P. Lovecraft story compilation
Case for my Nexus 7 (eeny, meeny, miny, moe)
Kill 'em All (I'm a bit late on this one)

I suppose I should save some to put towards Android apps as well (I'm not entirely certain how the whole Android ecosystem works yet, but I assume I can get Android apps from Amazon that will work on my Nexus).

Skull Vodka
Apple Airport Extreme
A new clock radio for my iPhone 5s
A Ken Onion Kershaw knife. I immediately sliced my finger open so it passed the "ridiculously sharp" test.

And without sounding like a sappy d-bag. My best gift was from my fans. During December they've snatched up over 3K copies of my books.

Yeah, somebody started a "Wishtmas" thread in which people started fulfilling sub-$5 wishlist items in their Steam friends lists. Many of those recipients who could afford to do so "paid it forward" with more gifts. They were flying fast and furious for a week or so; virtually everybody who participated got multiple free games, whether we could pay it forward or not. Their generosity was humbling to somebody like me who only ever buys 1-2 games a year at most. An interesting side effect was that my Steam friends list went from 0 to 19 in a few days.

I got me a radio controlled Quad copter (drone)  It is awesome!  And yes it can carry a working go-pro camera.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vKfeBNyrUI    Flight video is about 30 seconds in.

Heres my full christmas loot list:
Three concert blu rays to add to my collection:
SuperTramp Live in Paris
Rock Show: McCartney and Wings doing the Venus and Mars tour (one of my favorite albums and an awesome concert)
David Gilmore: Remember that Night: Live at the Royal Albert Hall

My main gift was a Blade 350QX quad copter. Its a gps assisted radio controlled drone and its amazing. It comes with a custom mount for a video camera (for a GoPro ) so it serves as an excellent aerial video platform.
I also got accessories for the copter, a variable charger and extra battery.
I also got a really cool set of Pink Floyd shot glasses for my bar.
Santa was good to me this year!

That's pretty awesome.  We should totally do something like that.

I paid it forward a different way - I donated a small section of my game collection.  In total, a shade over 250 games, my quad-rotor helicopter, a portable DVD player, and a bunch more totaling $15,000 for the Phoenix Children's Hospital here in Phoenix.  I may not have kids, but I hope I helped someone's kid through a tough time in their life.   The Weghted Companion Cube will never threaten to stab you.

I got a 3DSxl (awesome Zelda edition) along with Animal Crossing.
A CD containing the music from Majora's Mask that apparently you could only get through Nintendo themselves.
Minecraft LEGO set.
And a Zelda based piece of art from one of the local art shows somewhat recently (I need to get a picture of it).

Already bought myself some discounted Steam titles along with one of the Etrian Odyssey titles on the 3DS.

Very cool Ron.   thumbsup

I mostly just got business casual clothes for work, which was fine as I really needed some.  Also got a little Christmas cash, a generous work SPIF, and cashed in some Frequent Flyer miles for Amex gift cards, which allowed me to order a nice PC upgrade todaysmile

... shoulda built it. slywink

I keed, I keed. Nice haul!

I bought myself some junk at the end of November:
Xbox One, controller, pnc kit.
Some games. Ended up with Marvel LEGO heroes, NeedForSpeed, Dead Rising 3, and Titanfall preorder.
I was sent some review titles too so I have a bigger stable of games.

My son gave me Zoo Tycoon (for us to play together! biggrin)
He also got me a replacement battery for my drill set (which I needed)
I also got a much-needed tool belt, a hoodie and a tshirt.
The best present is the MASSIVE adventure time mug. Good taste for a 9yr old.

Oh, and I picked up a few things for myself yesterday and today.
Got myself a frost shield so I don't have to scrape my windshield every goddamned day.
For 50bux I got a Keurig machine and a 30kcup carousel (thrown in plus free shipping, TY Amazon).
Also bought myself a couple razors:

RQ1250:
130 shipped.
