I'm currently in the middle of Civil War II right now (issue 5 comes out today, but I haven't gotten into any of the tie-ins.) I've only started collecting/reading comics regularly since last October, so I'm interested in anything that came out in the past year or so. Currently into Deadpool and the Mercs for Money, New Superman, Squirrel Girl, and Animosity (though finding the second issue is now apparently impossible...)
Anything you're reading that you'd recommend?

I don't read comics nearly as much as I used to (the mainstream stuff largely passes me by), but I just finished the first TPB of the Big Trouble in Little China series by Eric Powell (The Goon), and really enjoyed it.

However, if there's one series I feel the need to tie people down and read, without a doubt, it's Saga.  Holy shit, it's absolutely fantastic storytelling/world-building/character creation, accompanied by some amazing artwork.  If you pick it up and flip through the pages, it might look too weird (and decidedly not for kids), but there's magic in those pages that will work on you.

Do Not Miss SAGA!

I grabbed a humble bundle with comics a while back and have started on Locke & Key and it's been a pretty good read with some great artwork.  Definitely not for kids, but I could see some older ones, pre-teens, if they are mature.
