Star Wars Detours I believe is the rumored sitcom.  If it seems more like extended Robot Chicken segments, that's because Seth Green and Co are making it.  Different animation style, but definitely the same energy.

Here's the first trailer.

At first I was rolling my eyes a bit, but as I continued to watch, it grew on me.  I laughed out loud a few times.

Here are some other bits:

The Emperor and Darth Clip

Han & Chewie Clip

Leia Clip

I can't believe this is an official product Lucasfilm. If Star Wars was a child George Lucas would have lost custody by now

Yeah ...not sold. Honestly looks pretty terrible. I think I chuckled at the R2 joke.

At least Billy Dee Williams is getting some more work.

This seems... weird. Got a couple of chuckles though, so it's not necessarily bad. Tongue

I watched the trailer for this earlier. It's basically for the kiddies. I laughed a couple of times, but I don't think adults who loved the original trilogy are the target audience for this. Think of this in the same line as 'Muppet Babbies' or 'Flinstone Kids'. Lucas wants to make money out of his franchise, so be it.

I don't get kiddie for this at all.  Seems to be targeting the same crowd as the Adult Swim set.
