It's baaaacccckkkk.

Last season was, in my opinion, a giant jumped shark of a season.  The whole IRA subplot just felt completely out of place for a show that was supposed to be about Jax's struggle with his birthright and the enemies within.  Thankfully, this season appears to be getting off on the right foot as we're back to basics again.

The leather clad assistant united state's attorney is played by the insane preacher from Deadwood.  Still too soon to decide what I make of his character, but I do like the actor.

Watched S1 & 2 on netflix last week and S3 on DVD over the weekend. Lovin it, cat wait for more. Missed the S4 premier so I'll have to wait to watch tomorrorw night episode until the DVR picks up Out. /grr

Loved season one. Season two started fine but ended so over the top and ridciulous that it sapped my interest in watching season three.

finally got around to watching the first episode and parts of the second.  not bad, I wonder if they are planning on season 5 to be the last since if they keep the Jax/Clay feud simmering any longer it's going to be overcooked.

on a side note, I noticed Aceveda from The Shield playing one of Machete's henchmen in the second episode.  I wonder if him and Lem will have a reunion, but too bad Dutch bought it already.

the way things are moving I wouldn't be surprised to see a new overarching storyline starting up next season.

If they continue with the original intent of "Hamlet in a biker gang" I would imagine that has to end with the death of...someone in charge.  Next season could be about the aftermath or it could just become a standard (not an insult) adventure/crime show about anti-heroes.

That poor son of a bitch gets blown up eventually in almost every show he's on.  You think by now he'd just ask his casting agent to put him in dramas that don't include explosives.

At first I thought "come on, it's just a tv show."  After reading the article and being reminded that they've had at least 3 federal agents (almost one per season) that were just downright bad, I had to stop and think for a second.  Maybe the writer of the show (who plays Otto, by the way) really does have issues with the feds/cops/anyone in authority.

I have to say, they've redeemed themselves after last season's ridiculous story.  Much improved.  Can't wait for part deux of the season finale.

Jax is stopped from killing Clay at the last second (after he tells Clay he knows about him killing his father) and civil war ensues in the club for season 5.  I also predict Romeo just sold them out.

I will say that Leroy is (rightfully) going to be on the warpath for some time to come.  I know the "heroes" of the show are supposed to be the Sons, but now I'm actually rooting for the Niners to slaughter a few of them. 

I was confused by the scene with Romeo in which he denies Otto sold them out.  Is he playing out some plan I'm not aware of/too stupid to grasp?

Also, Lenny cracks me up every time he shows up.
