Anyone catch the premier of Cult on CW? (Tuesdays at 9PM)  Almost feels a bit like The Following, except with a vampire hunter. |

I need to teach my DVR about this. A review that I read today said that the pilot is overplotted the same way that The Last Resort was overplotted. To me, that's a good thing.

Strange. Hulu Plus has had the pilot since last week. Was looking forward to episode 2 tonight.. Hulu Plus got the rights to air the premiere a week in advance. I got an e-mail ad about it last week. |

Hmmm...I'll have to check out Hulu Plus a little more closely. I've been debating cutting my ties to cable television and going with netflix and broadcast digital only. If Hulu Plus is now getting more support from the networks, that may just push me over the edge.

Hulu Plus has been awesome, even more so than Netflix IMO.
Most of the shows I watch - Arrow, Revolution, The Following, Nikita, Vampire Diaries, WWE Monday Night Raw, and now Cult are all current on Hulu. They have a movies section as well but all old stuff.
There are shows on Hulu Plus I've never even heard of - current ones and mini episodes (like Shinobi Girl) always seem to be finding new stuff in the Hulu catalog.

I really liked the premiere but the second ep seemed a bit weak. Maybe I was just too tired but I kept falling asleep toward the end.

Haven't watched the second episode yet. The pilot was promising It was a stretch how quickly they hooked up the Mulder and Scully characters, and Baldycop was a thin stereotype, but those are just nitpicks in a plot-driven show. If it lasts long enough the characters will eventually acquire personalities.
