if you haven't seen the the original movie, definitely do so.
Seconded, I really enjoyed the movie a lot. I think the cartoon is going to lose some of the charm because you won't have situations like "the boom mic was in the shot, they main character just looked at it and they didn't care" or "that big guy he just hit and you saw get really pissed for a split second was replaced by a smaller guy in the next shot".
Or the guy in the first scene who was clearly a classicly trained actor forced to play yet another drug dealer and making the most of it.
Or the phenominally brilliant putting-it-all-together scene in the diner.
Agreed that the cartoon was disappointing although I enjoyed the black bar over his johnson, but then they called that out). Also agreed that everyone must see the movie.
