I troll Gamestop every couple of days to check the reviews. Every once in a while I might have clicked on an article or even a video if the subject matter interested me. Over the past year or so (maybe it's been much longer; I've been trying to keep these simpering idiots out of my brainspace), the temptation to click has disappeared and a desire to run screaming from the site increases. The images used to lead you to their videos are increasingly filled with the heads of their "personalities" instead of an image from the game or story that might actually interest you. As though the hosts are the draw. But, I ask you, are these jerks a draw?
From least to most egregious.
This first one is okay. She doesn't seem to be trying too hard.
Plus, in finding pics for this post, I discovered she can also look like this:
This guy makes me want to punch his high five.
Speaking of punching high fives, I really just want to mangle this one's hand.
At first, you might be fooled. Thinking that she seems kinda cute. Harmless.
But then you realize she uses the same vapid, fake-geek, borderline duck lip pose all the time.
Those eyes are empty. And they look dead straight into the camera. Dead straight into you.
But even that one is nothing compared to these buffoons.
Especially this guy.
Fuck him in particular.
Look at him.
Society is dead.
Seriously, Gamespot. Stop it. Just stop it.
