I still don't understand how Mark Wahlberg has remained popular.  He has an extremely limited acting range, in interviews he comes across as a complete douchebag, and he has little to no sense of humor.  Sure, he surprised people in Boogie Nights by not flopping around on the floor in every scene while muttering "whoa whoa whoa" but that's really about it.

Arrow has just had its 4th episode and i am quite enjoying it now

I am finding that when the show ends i am eager to know what happens next(should of recorded them all and watched them all at once,i hate waiting)

like last weeks 3rd episode

I have a question,the make up on his eyes,is it supposed to be make up or is it meant to be Shadow?

For example:-remember Keaton's Batman?,the black Eye make up was supposed to be shadow,because of when he took his mask off in front of Selina Kyle and Max Shrek,you could see the white around his eyes so that he didn't look a prick when he had no mask

moments before he took off the mask


and with mask ripped off


so is this the same thing with the Arrow,the green across his eyes is supposed to be shadow from the hood?



(and yes,Elementary and Arrow are the only two things i watch on TV.....I am TiVo'ing The Walking Dead and watch them all at once,so i can;t comment on that yet)

I have a question,the make up on his eyes,is it supposed to be make up or is it meant to be Shadow?

It's supposed to be his version of a mask/shadow to hide his features.. I guess they felt a "real" mask was too comicy...
For Batman, there are several scenes where you can clearly see the eye shadow.. then it disappears... probably they didn't want any scenes where batman is unmasked, but the actors face is still obscured... I believe this happens in every version of batman except the original tv series where batman didn't have any eye shadow at all...

The last numbers I saw had it being the highest rated show on its network, and then it got picked up for a full season. I haven't seen anything to show that the ratings have dipped at all, so I would say this one will get picked up for season 2 for sure. So far it's getting higher ratings than Smallville did in season 1 (Which was on the same network here), so that's a good sign.

This started up again last night(The Fireman episode),and i am still enjoying it


However,i have been meaning to ask this for ages

Why have mother and daughter got the same small Mole on their upper lips?(Birthmark type Mole,not the furry half-blind creatures ),is it a coincidence between the two actresses or are the producers trying to make sure we know they are mother and daughter(even though Mole placement is far as i am aware not hereditary)

they announced that the tech girl Felicity will be a series regular next season. 

She's our favorite character. Looking forward to seeing her and Diggle together.

Edit: new episode was probably the best of the season (not that this took a miracle). Felicity was awesome. The flashbacks to the island are getting far more interesting now. At first it was all simply "how Oliver became a tough guy/badass" but there's a lot more going on at this point than simply that.

And yes, the island reveals get more interesting all the time and seeing how that was only six months in there's lots more to come. Now I'm curious how they're going to explain the tattoo behind his left shoulder, how that all ties back to what we saw in that last episode...

The Cape was horrific. This is not.

Also The Cape had Summer Glau, harbinger of sci-fi series death,  Arrow does not.  Although if she shows up as a guest star, Id start worrying!

I actually thought at first that was the same actress who played Laurel but with a shitload of make up on they were never in the same frame for awhile as well..and i am not a Dr Who fan,so,wouldn't of known or recognised her anyway
