I tried it last week, mainly because beer makes me make bad decisions (that decision being going to Taco Bell in the first place). It was not great. Not disgusting, but it really doesn't add anything. Regular soft taco > Dorito taco.

I tried one earlier this week and honestly could not tell the difference between it and the regular shell version. Of course, I rarely eat the regular shell version when I do risk a Taco Bell visit, so that may not be much of a comparison. But I can't say I even noticed any flavor that told me the shell was a nacho cheese dorito.

Got 3 of these tonight, much better than I was expecting. If you break a piece of the shell off it tastes like a dorito by itself. When you add all the other ingredients it does lose some of the dorito taste but I still noticed it.
Not sure it was worth 30 cents extra for a dorito taco shell, but definitely worth a try.

Maybe they'd be better off just selling "Doritos cheese-flavor powder" in a little bottle that you sprinkle on top of the taco, and then that would give you the flavor, if not the powdery orange color hands effect. |

The taco was a softer shell than a regular hard-shell taco. It didn't really crunch, more folded than anything else. There was a dusting of Nacho Cheese flavor, but it wasn't that strong. I think I prefer the regular tacos more than these. Mucho disappointismo.
