Did anyone catch the first episode of Continuum tonight? I like what I've seen so far with the tech, the time travel and the whole "control the past to save the future" thing they're doing. Several people in the cast you might recognize. Lexa Doig's name caught my eye, don't recall seeing her since Andromeda. A dude from Mutant X. The Cigarette Smoking Man. Rachel Nichols is the lead and is quite striking... and a little cyborg-ie.  icon_wink

Been watching it online when it was showing on a different channel. I guess Syfy picked it up to air where you are.

It's interesting, I keep going between liking it and being just okay with it.

Things do get very interesting towards the end of season 1 and it looks like it was renewed for a second season. So I'm up for continuing with it.

I believe this is a Canadian show just moved to the US?  Hence we are now behind here.

I liked it as well except for one issue...how easy it was for Kiera to move from just got time-warped back to 2012 with no ID, money, friends etc...to basically leading a police task force.  It just seemed way to easy and contrived.

That said, I liked it so far and the cast is pretty eclectic with some old great faces in it.

They actually do cover those aspects. She's got a lot of tech at her disposal too, basic hacking tools seem built into her suit.

It's all very much Time Trax in a way, but with even more conspiracy.

Watched this the other day and enjoyed it as well. Liked all the characters, setup, and a nice twist at the end of the episode. It's not a must watch show for me but can see getting excited to see it when nothing else is on.

For some odd reason, Tivo hates this show.  I've scheduled it twice, it appears in my season pass manager, but Tivo never records it.  It doesn't conflict with any other show either.   icon_confused

Just watched the first two episodes on netflix and thought they were great. Really excited to watch the rest, and even more excited I'm starting a show that has actually been renewed.

I'd have to say that it's getting better, however while this second season is starting off interesting, it's starting to diverge into a lot of different plotlines that they're really going to have to bring together, otherwise they lose the driving force of the first season.

Whew, remembered you're in Canada, right? Was worried I'd missed the start but I think it starts in June in the States...
