Yay.
WTF is wrong with this franchise? Every freakin' year....

I'm pissed, I'll leave it at that.

I've been watching the score flash by on the ten minute ticker.  Really, this has happened under multiple coaches now.  (27-0, the score just went by).

Too bad.  I wanted Mike Tice to succeed where Green failed.  I'm gonna enjoy watching the Cards get good enough to almost make the playoffs but never go anywhere.

Maybe the Giants have Kryptonite in their jockstraps to stop Culpepper.

The Giants have our number.  How many games have they done this to us now?

The good ol' Viking 2nd half of the season implosion. Just in time for the Packers 2nd half rebirth and division title win!

It's the same thing every single year.

Yeah, Hetz. You may be right.

I guess I can hope Tice gets this ship righted before they implode. The talent is there, no doubt. Thats why it is SO fucking frustrating!

I remember when I was young growing up in S.Calif. the title was always up for grabs between the Vikings and the Rams and the Vikings usually won.

For all the talk about Cullpepper I guess this team really revoles around a healthy Randy Moss.

Every Viking fan, myself included in that lot knows it's going to happen, the season meltdown that results in the Vikes pissing away a great season, and possibly not moving past the 2nd round of the playoffs and DEFINITELY NOT getting to and WINNING the SuperBowl.

There are still some NFL franchises that have never won the BIG one, Minnesota being at the top of the all-time leading chokers in that category.

Every year the Vikings start out great and by the end of the year they piss it all away. It's nothing new to me. I've been experiencing this since the late 70's when they lost the Superbowl to the Oakland Raiders. I'll never forget that game because my best friend at the time was a big Raider fan and the next day I felt like S**T after the beating the Vikings got.

I start every year with high expectations and by the middle of the year I don't expect anything EXCEPT the "meltdown" followed by "the choke".

I'm beginning to wonder if I'll EVER see the Vikings win a SuperBowl in my lifetime.

Hey you guys COULD be Redskins fans.  We win the offseason free agent superbowl every year....and suck when the season starts.

I look at your Vikings experience like I did with my Terps experience.

Until 2001, the Terps had never gone to the final 4 in the NCAA tournament.  In fact, they hadn't gone past the Sweet 16.  Been to the Tournament every year from 1993 onwards.  No matter if the team had more talent than anyone else (Stevie Franchise team, I'm staring RIGHT AT YOU, dammit).  They'd always blow out in the tournament.  Every year I'd have my heart broken.  Usually in the Sweet 16 round, sometimes earlier.

When they won the National Championship, it was like a freaking anvil lifted off my shoulders.  Winning the ACC Championship in the UNC/Duke/Wake backyard last year just made that even sweeter.

Hopefully your Vikes will win someday and you'll know how I feel now.

I can't compare it to the Redskins since the Skins used to win superbowls fairly frequently and now won't ever win one again....

Poor dave and his redskins. What an abysmal group. Not like my titans are shining this year, but I know you must be pulling your hair out by the roots.

I'd be more impressed if it was bumped from a year ago though biggrin I wonder if someone will actually track this thread down in one year and bump it again and it still be true!

After the Vikes 3rd loss in a row, I was going to make a few witty comments, but I think "bump" says it all.

I would not call the last loss a "collapse"  they played there hearts out.  Too bad they were running and gunning against the master of the minute or less comeback king.  Bad luck for the Vikings.  They will come back strong next week and probrobly win big.  Still one of the teams to watch in my opinion.  Now my Saints on the other hand.... Let's not even go there, I don't wanna get any suck on the boards.  smile
