If you check out the entire gallery at the Cleveland Plain Dealer...
http://photos.cleveland.com/4501/gallery/captain_america_the_winter_soldier_day_25/index.html#/0

I'm not sure if the car is strictly a camera car with rollbars, or if it's something Cap it racing away from.  icon_smile The shield's still its familiar red, white and blue at least.

I did read some of the comics where he switched to a more subdued uniform and at times skipped the mask altogether. I guess it works for the darker, conspiracy-type storyline, but I'm still with those fans who found the last uniform in the first movie -- which I didn't initially like in set photos -- really grew on me. I dunno. I of course loved The Avengers, I just thought the sleeker costume there almost diminished Cap in stature. He seemed more like a dancer.  icon_razz

So I'm glad Hayley Atwell is still getting a chance to shine separately a bit...

'Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter' -- FIRST LOOK at poster and three photos from the new short!
http://insidemovies.ew.com/2013/07/11/marvel-one-shot-agent-carter-first-look/
*NOTE: It's a 4-page feature, page numbers are near the bottom of the news post. Hayley's pic is over here:
http://insidemovies.ew.com/2013/07/11/marvel-one-shot-agent-carter-first-look/4/

Quote
Marvel Studios co-president and short-filmmaking impresario Louis D’Esposito has opened the secret file on the latest “One-Shot” film Agent Carter, and EW has the exclusive look at the retro-comic poster and three images from the movie, which will debut at Comic-Con next Friday.

As the title suggests, the latest in Marvel’s short-film series explores the post-Captain America heroics of British operative Peggy Carter. Hayley Atwell (TV’s The Pillars of the Earth) reprises her role as an analyst with the nascent S.H.I.E.L.D. organization, the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve.)
...
Agent Carter got the greenlight because it serves as connective thread between Iron Man 3 — since it features Dominic Cooper as Tony Stark’s father — and the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
The short is supposed to be included on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray release Sept. 24.

Recap of the CATWS presentation at Comic-Con...

http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/20/showbiz/comic-con-avengers-2-ew/index.html?iid=article_sidebar
*Clip spoilers, needless to say:
Spoiler for Hiden:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
...
There's still a week left before shooting is complete, but Marvel is presenting a clip. Here's the recap:

Unknown thugs gather in an elevator and Steve Rogers can tell something is wrong. One of them is Frank Grillo as the villain Crossbones. "Before we start," Cap says. "Anyone want to get out?"

A face-crushing fistfight breaks out, and all fall except Crossbones.

"I just want you to know, Cap. None of this is personal," he says.

"It kinda feels personal," Rogers says, and the battle continues.

"To build a better world sometimes means tearing the wold one down," says Robert Redford's voice. He appears against a large window, Alexander Pierce, "Disorder, war, all it takes is one step."

Now Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury speaka: "We're going to neutralize a lot of threats before they happen."

"I thought the punishment usually came after the crime," Cap says.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. sees the world as it is, not as we hope it to be," Fury replies.

The last shot is Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier, picking up Captain America's fallen shield.
And I guess I need to read up on the villain...
, whom I'm not at all familiar with. Frank Grillo was in The Grey, Zero Dark Thirty and End of Watch, but darned if I can place the face.

So Cap's gonna take down the Winter Soldier using NerfTM missiles?  saywhat icon_smile

I'll track down the links later, but Hayley Atwell said she "would be game" if Marvel wanted her for a TV series for her Peggy Carter character. Since she resides in the UK, I bet she'd be more apt to do it if it were filmed in the UK -- maybe they can partner with BBC icon_smile, and if it were more of a cable TV series type season (13-16 rather than 22-26 episodes).  Nothing concrete or even proposed yet though, so it's all just wishful kerfluffle at this point.

Some media types have asked Marvel if they'd consider attaching the Peggy Carter one-shot short film (from the Iron Man 3 BluRay) to the Winter Soldier theatrical release. I doubt they'd do that (no doubt some teaser leading into Avengers 2 or another Marvel film is planned at the end), but maybe they could include it more as a fun thing before Winter Soldier only on opening day, or just for IMAX shows etc.

I hope we get to see a theatrical trailer in theaters for Winter Soldier soon. We're already pelted with trailers in theaters about stuff coming out early next year into spring.

OK, Collider didn't like linking the poster image.  icon_razz So I uploaded below.
*Seems more like the last costume in the Cap movie (note the helmet) than the Avengers costume, maybe a hybrid of the two.

I can get the Apple HD version to play but it's like the QuickTime interface bars are missing or something:

Ain't It Cool likewise included the UK version as well (and the, I guess North American version). Not sure of the differences? (if any):

I thought it look incredibly generic.  Seriously if you took off the costume and told me it was a trailer for the the new Mission Impossible movie I wouldn't have been surprised.  I actually think there were more fantastical type stunts in the first trailers for MI3.

It might be great but it certainly didn't say "super hero" movie to me.

I thought the new trailer was fantastic.  Let's face it, Cap is not that thrilling as he has no extraordinary "super" power, so there's only so much you can do with him relative to Iron Man or Thor.  Undead Bucky (or whatever that was) looked like a great villain choice, and was not recognizable to me...  All that, and Robert Redford???  WTf?!??!

My only problem with it was how badass Fury, Scarlet and SHIELD come across in relative comparison to the TV show's version of SHIELD.

USA Today had a recent interview with comics scribe Ed Brubaker (creator, or maybe it was co-creator of the Winter Soldier iteration of Bucky):
http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/2013/09/22/ed-brubaker-sunday-conversation/2828983/
Briefly touches on the movie. Financially, he's excited because this movie specifically touches on his previous work and movie tie-ins will be released and Ed will at least get some royalties from sales of those if not (probably) the movie itself.
Quote
Q. And fans will be able to see some of your fingerprints on Captain America: The Winter Soldier, out April 4. Is that going to be enjoyable for you to see them take one of your signature story lines and put it on screen?

A. I read the script and I was really blown away by it. The tone of it and the Bucky stuff is so perfect and the way I'd want it to be, I was so thrilled to see that. But to me the biggest thing, too, is it's the first time Marvel has put out a movie where there's a specific book the title of the movie relates to. And now they're doing that with Avengers: Age of Ultron.

They're putting out a hardcover collection of Captain America: Winter Soldier and that's because that movie is coming out. That is the first time Marvel has one specific book to point people to, as opposed to when X-Men: First Class came out and there's 15 trade paperbacks and people who see the movie don't know which one to pick up. So it's exciting, as the guy who gets royalties for that book.
I've read a few of the Winter Soldier comics arcs, and they are pretty cool though it feels like eventually the comic was milking the Winter Soldier character as long as it could.

While I'm not as keen on Thor as the other Marvel Studios films, I guess now I have a reason to go see it. I'm taking next Friday off, so it'll be something to do that day.  icon_cool

With Captain America: The Winter Soldier now just six months away from release, Marvel is offering an extended look at the film with 3D showings of Thor 2.

Nearly five minutes of footage from the Captain America sequel will be attached to 3D screenings of Thor: The Dark World, so if the film’s debut trailer left you craving more Cap, you now have the opportunity to curb your appetite.

I think that was about the first time I felt like he really was Captain America.  Perhaps it was just that he acted more serious and in control or something but that looked much better than the first one.

Other images from the Empire piece...

http://collider.com/captain-america-2-the-winter-soldier-images/

I just hope Winter Soldier's voice, given the mouth mask, isn't like Bane's...

"Oh no, it's the Winter Soldier!"
"Krop de sheilk, er ohll scmuzse yew!"
"What?"
"KROP DE SHEILK!"
"What is he saying? Bucky, is that you?"
"Duhnt kool moh bowkee! Ahll ceeyul yew!"
"Can someone translate?"  icon_razz

As far as the costume, I think that's from the comics era where he was battling corrupt federal government agency types, so it made sense to sort of "de patriot-ize" the costume's colors at the time. I don't know if that comes into play in the movie in that way, it's just how I remember it from the comics.
