After Kenneth Branagh did not sign up for Thor 2,Patty Jenkins the director of Monster came on board

Now she is out as well

Thor 2 is still set for release in 2013

Well, wouldn't you know it, Jenkins and Marvel Studios have just now parted ways, thanks to ye olde "creative differences". According to Deadline's report: "Her exit had to do with creative differences, but the feeling is that she’ll probably end up working on one of these superhero films, but perhaps not on a sequel. Marvel will have to move fast because it has to meet a November 15, 2013 release date for the sequel."

I loved Thor,so i say they give Kenny B a shitload of money to do it

Well, its true - Mads Mikkelsen will be in the movie as a villain. I have it from a pretty reliable source ;-)

Thor 2 Eyes Chuck Star Zachary Levi

Marvel Studios is targeting Zachary Levi to join the cast of Thor 2. He would replace Josh Dallas in the film.

Dallas played Fandral, one of the Warriors Three in Thor, but is bowing out of the sequel to the 2011 hit movie due to his commitments to the ABC show Once Upon a Time.

Levi’s involvement may blessed by the gods, however. He was in talks to originally play the role in 2010 but had to bow out when his cult NBC show Chuck got a last-minute reprieve from cancellation and an episode extension.

Looking on the IMDB page i was glad to see most of the cast is back for the sequel,mainly the people i wasn't expecting to be back for some reason,Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman


Alan Taylor is directing,who hasn't done that many films,but i have watched a lot of the series he has directed episodes of(Boardwalk Empire,Lost,Game Of Thrones),hopefully he will do fine,but it does make me a little nervous i still say they should of thrown a shitload of money at Kenny B

I like the cast including the addition of Christopher Eccleston, but I can't say I like the idea of Alan Taylor directing. Not that I haven't enjoyed some of the other films and episodes he's directed, just don't like his style for a film like Thor.
