The trailers look interesting, but I can't get past the fact that the title is the WORST EVER. Makes me nervous that the rest is gonna be ass too.

I'll probably check this out maybe this weekend if it opens here. I liked the Timothy Olyphant guy in Die Hard 4 but can't think of anything else immediately that I've seen him in and recognized him. Will probably check out the TX series with him as well.

He played the drug dealer in Go, which is a good movie if you haven't seen it (as long as you don't dwell on the fact that it follows the structure of Pulp Fiction). |

I think Hollywood has gotten to me on this one. I have to admit, I really want to see this movie and will more than likely go and watch it in the theater this weekend. I just love the premise of the movie for some reason. I never saw the original John Romero one but now I definitely will give it a watch too.

I just checked the reviews at Rottentomatoes and it's at 82 percent. Unfortunately, the reviewers pumping it up to that level aren't ones that I've heard from before. My guess is we won't see any decent reviews until tomorrow. Ebert's review is available, though. And he doesn't seem to like it that much. However, I'm so starved for a good zombie flick, plus I'm a huge fan of George (John) Romero's version, that I may actually duck into a matinee saturday. although that might also be because i really, really want movie theater popcorn. |

Just got back from it. I thought it was fairly well done aside from some liberties: Worth the price of admission. I was originally going to see Avatar at the 3D Imax, but the lobby was full when I got there 30 minutes beforehand, so I decided to change my plans. Also, there's a website for the town mentioned at the end of the credits. |
