Romeros latest Dead movie, this time on an isalnd where they are trying to 'cure' the undead of their need for human flesh.  it was recent;y screened at a bunch of movie festivals, and the impressions I've seen say it's better than 'Diary of the Dead' (I've only seen bits and pieces and Diary did not look good at all).  hopefully it'll get a release here soon, all the dates I've seen only say 2009 and this would be a great Halloween flick.

I liked Diary of the Dead. The deaf Amish guy cracks me up.

Oh yeah, if you haven't seen the movie, there's a deaf Amish guy killing zombies in it.

It's basically a group of kids making a horror film at college when the viral outbreak begins. Very modernistic take on youth society and the Internet, and how things would go during the zombie apocalypse. There's some really interesting steady cam work that for the most part doesn't make you feel sick, since they seem to interweave them with actual camera shots.

Have had two trustworthy horror friends watch it.. Neither liked it. Beware. Signs point to it being a stinker.

As much as I love zombies I think I'm getting tired of these old school ones. Or maybe it was just a bad trailer. The only thing memorable from it was Romero's glasses.
