New vampire flick from Niel Jordan called Byzantium (stick with the trailer for a bit...it starts off like a Merchant Ivory film then goes dark rather abruptly).

While I could probably go the rest of my damn life without seeing yet another vampire film about beautiful people with superhuman powers claiming to be tortured and miserable, I also put Niel Jordan in my top 10 director's list without reservation.  I've been a fan ever since The Crying Game and (more importantly) The Butcher Boy.
