they call this a teaser, but it's 10 minutes long. EXCLUSIVE AND FIRST ON YOUTUBE! PLUS MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE TRON FRANCHISE AHEAD!

The first of the 2 fabled TR3N (TRON 3) teaser videos. This one is titled "The Next Day", and is an official exclusive extra from the TRON: Legacy Blu-Ray. It explains the origins of the Flynn Lives organisation (who ran the ARG) and who was in charge of it, and what happens after Sam decides to take over ENCOM at the end of TRON: Legacy! Featuring the fabled scene with Dan Shor as Ram and Bruce Boxleitner as Alan Bradley. The second TRON 3 teaser is reportedly a hidden Easter Egg in the DVD/Blu-Ray and will reportedly feature Olivia Wilde as Quorra and Cillian Murphy as Ed Dillinger Jr.
Enjoy! so they're not going to take a 18 year break this time?

While it's tough to call $170M domestic box office "disappointing," that's also about what it cost to make. According to Box Office Mojo it did well overseas ($225M). But given the ho-hum reviews and general lack of enthusiasm for it, I'd be really surprised if Disney sank any more money into it. It left theaters here in Virginia so relatively quickly I never got a chance to see it. The funny thing is, the original Tron actually turned a profit domestically because of its fairly meager budget, but because it didn't do Star Wars-E.T. type business in that box office besotted era (1982), it was seen as a Flop when it maybe should've been seen as a "modest success." Thus ends your box office nerd lesson for the day.  |

It has nothing to do with suspending disbelief and everything to do with it being a terrible movie. The first half of the movie is good, but then the second half proceeds to waste everything positive that was setup in the first half and bore the crap out of the audience. |

Pretty much, yeah. Granted, I also liked Indy 4, but hated Transformers 2 and Spider-Man 3, if that gives you any indication as to how you may feel about it. |
