Yes, but this one has Kate Bosworth in it!!! And Academy Award winner Geofrrey Rush!!!! Not to mention some Korean dude who was in one of the top-grossing (Korean) movies of ALL TIME!!! As the one review I read said, move over pirates, it's Cowboys vs. Ninjas! |

This does look like over the top fun. Its a tight budget holiday season for me this year and I do want to see Tron in the theatres so this may slip to a netflix viewing but I will definitely see it.

Dong-gun Jang is my favorite Korean actor. He was excellent in the film Taegukgi hwinalrimyeo (Brotherhood), which is quite possibly the best Korean war film ever made. I'll likely go see this just to see him on the screen again. I just hope they give him some good lines, because he's definitely got the talent to deliver them. |

Hard to describe and hard to recommend without knowing you personally, but I did enjoy it myself. It's a jumbled mix of 300, Asian martial arts movies, circus movies and westerns, with a little bit of Shoot 'Em Up (super cute baby to protect) for good measure. Action sequences were pretty videogame (Bayonetta-ish maybe) like and enjoyable to watch. There's actually a significant amount of Kate Bosworth, exposition and humor, and less action than I thought there would be. All I can say is I had fun but I would really have to know you liked this type of movie before I could recommend it.

I saw it last night and that's a good description. I don't know if it is a "good" movie, but it certainly has its own consistent tone and vision and I found it to be quite enjoyable. |

I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The female character was annoying as heck, but if you ignore her the rest of the movie is rather fun.
...although my enjoyment could also be the product of decent action film starvation. We really need to send all our action directors to hong kong and seoul for at least one semester in school so they can learn how to make a decent action film on a budget.
