I thought he was alright in the film, his come on/tease towards Bond was a bit unexpected, but its not like we have had that many bad guys actually interested in Bond that way....if he was actually interested in him that way

I had the feeling that he was doing that to Bond to try and put him off his game.  As a field agent he has been trained to resist interrogation/torture, and we saw in Casino Royale that he wont give in for mere pain.

Thats exactly what i thought, he was trying to rattle Bonds cool.
As far as the movie, maybe its because it was so hyped up but I really didnt think it was the best Bond evar!!!!!  It actually seemed fairly generic to me.  Mostly due to the villian, who, to me seemed like a walking collection of cliches. I did like that Bond came off more self assured and experienced this time around and actually seemed competent for a change. Overall, I liked the movie and feel Craig does a great job as Bond but Skyfall still ranks below Thunderball and You Only Live Twice, as the best Bond ever.

Sam Mendes Officially not Returning for Bond 24

Quote
It has been a very difficult decision not to accept Michael and Barbara’s very generous offer to direct the next Bond movie. Directing SKYFALL was one of the best experiences of my professional life, but I have theatre and other commitments, including productions of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory and King Lear, that need my complete focus over the next year and beyond.
